After Playing the game for another 100 hours I have come to the realisation that Brawlhalla is actually a really good game. Except for a few issues. Now if you don't wish to be bored with me going into actual game talk the game is inconsistent at its core but other than that it a great game.

Lets begin with dodge frames. Dodge frames are completely dependent on your characters dexterity when doing a string. This makes learning dodge timing for a few strings really awkward as going against one blaster character is different to another. This makes the game feel inconsistent as you can avoid the attack once but then another game you can't with the same dodge timing. This also however makes the game have a unique stance on the fighting genre because your character (or legend) determines your options making an apparent tier list.

One thing that I do like about the game though is the constant addition of events and skins. Although the skins do cost money it lets you show your appreciation to the devs for cosmetics that actually look as if they have taken some time to develop. An example of this is the Cross Hell Boy Crossover skin that took hours to get asymmetric gauntlets working without braking the game. Another is the amazing gamemode that we got for the Hell Boy event which gave us the chance to play the game in a PvP environment whilst also having a challenge.

The most recent event, the Battle Pass, is a welcomed one from me. This adds another layer of levelling to the game as currently levelling up your account or character is not massively rewarding. Again this does cost money but the $7.99 investment it is worth every cent as you end up getting over $50 worth of cosmetics.

Overall Brawlhalla as a few balance issues here and there with certain characters having high dexterity on high damage weapons but other than that the game is a masterpiece in the free to play market and should be getting more popularity than it gets. In my opinion the game deserves an 8/10 due to its amazing feel when playing even if it is inconsistent at times.

CS:GO Review
Counter Strike: Global Offensive is a game that pitches a counter terrorist force against an opposing team of terrorists that have to plant a bomb and defend it as it explodes or kill the entire counter terrorist forces to win a round. The game currently has a large active esports scene with tournaments seemingly on the weekly. This creates a good way to not only learn tricks from the pros but also a way to support your favourite top tier players and teams.

The competitive system in this game does its job to a basic level even if it is not as sophisticated as those in upcoming games such as the newly announced Valorant.

Personally I believe that CS:GO is a much better game than its competitor Valorant due to the variety of complex maps and unique smoke lineups that require time and effort to learn.

My only issue is the current issue that plagues the game, hacking. Although I can't say for certain I am pretty sure I have had at least 2 hackers in the 5 games. If you want to play seriously and avoid hackers I would advise investing in something like faceit that works the same as competitive except better and has a good anti cheat system.

As I have played this game more I have only found it more and more enjoyable. The amount of community servers and players that are willing to be fun is great.

Overall CS:GO gets a 9/10 for me only because of the issue I just stated.

Early Access Review
I know i dont have the most hours on paladins but from the 22 hours ive played this game is better than overwatch. The level and character design lacks a bit but that is to be expected with a free to play game. The general mechanics and card system really make this game amazing. So paladins gets a thumbs up from me
