Fantastic game to play with friends

After talking with the developer of the game, maybe I have been too hard on him, so I am editing my review. I can't give it a thumbs up because I don't like what he did, but I don't think that he did it with bad intentions.

Everyone can read his reasons to act like he did on his news ("A word about the DLC"). But the facts from my point of view were these:

1- Played a free game until I got 100% achievements.
2- A few months after this, the developer makes an update that effectively remove the game (after the upload, you only get one screen with a message).
3- After the update, the developer wiped all achievements, leaving us that played the game with a 0% completion.
4- The developer added a paid DLC with what used to be the game we had played for free.
5- The developer added the same achievements that we got from the free game tied to the paid DLC.

So, in the end, I need to pay to play a game I used to play for free so I can do (again) the same achievements I did some months ago to get back my 100%.

The developer has his own (good) reasons to act like that, but I don't like how he managed this.

Short and fun game. It needs some bug fixing, but overall a good game for a few hours.
You will need a few runs to 100% it.

900 hours spent... and more to come.

Strange combat system, but a good experience overall.

Typical sliding block puzzle; nothing new, but relaxing and fun on short periods of time. Very easy; good to initiate childs on puzzle games.

The developer is very active in the forums: there were some problems with the achievements but he fixed them in a short period of time.

If you liked Puzzle Quest, you will like this one.

This game is in a very Early Access stage but I can see the seed of a great game in it.
The game, as is right now, lacks an objective. You can build, create and explore, but there are no objective other than to get the best possible equipment and enjoy the exploration.
There are a lot of detail in the game: there is not only "wood", there are a lot of different trees that gives different types of wood with different attributes (that adds to what you are building). Also, there are different zones in the map with different climates and different plants and animals (whose skins gives different attributes to your creations).
The developers are very actively developing the game and are also very active in the forum.

Really unique puzzle game with chess elements.
The game have 3 modes (right now, but the developer is very active):
- Endless mode: You can select your team of knights, bishops and/or rooks and try to capture waves of enemy pawns until you lose all your pieces or too many pawns reach the bottom of the board. There are also things to make the game more interesting: 3 difficult levels, pawns that move 2 cells, cursed pawns, hyper states, bombs, ...
- Puzzle mode: your have a fixed team of pieces, a fixed initial position and fixed enemies and you have to capture all the pawns in the less posibble movements.
- Knight's Dungeon: you have 1 or 2 knights and need to move around all the squares of the custom board one and only one time.
The game offers a good amount of hours for the price.
Also, the developer is very active in the Steam forum: I reported a little bug there and the developer answered and fixed the problem in around 6 hours.

Good casual game.

I agree with the store page definition: "addictive and fun 'just-one-more-round' score chaser. Perfect for playing while waiting in queue for another game".

The difficulty of the game increases as you advance with different types of "enemies" that add new challenges.

Very good for the asking price.
