After months of waiting, it's fairly easy to tell that the game is still not properly optimized. Frame drops are still apparent, and it definitely ruins the experience. I purchased this game day 1 and I didn't refund it with hopes that the proper fix would be the proper fix.

If you're a fan of Alien, I recommend this game

If you're a fan of both Alien and Horror, this is a must-buy. One of the best games I've played all year, and one of the best horror games I've played (though this is just my opinion, of course).

Alien Isolation succeeds are portraying the Alien in a way that gamers have not quite experienced before: as something to be feared and avoided, not confronted and shot at. The atmosphere, Alien AI, andgameplay all contribute to a beautifully horrifying Sci-fi horror classic which just so happens to be based on one of the best horror movies of all time. I loved this game. 9/10
