A very slow start that's worth getting through.

The beginning of the story feels very slow and not as open or free as expected. Work through the main story, letting it introduce you to the various major cities, then the game really opens up. Ignore reviews with < 10 hours commenting on the story or gameplay, it's not possible to experience the full game in that time.

The main storyline is fine but short, there's 2 or 3 pretty good missions towards the end of it which really brings up an otherwise quite slow and boring story. The best stories to find in this game are side quests and especially faction quests. It's incredibly easy to be travelling to one quest location and get pulled into a different multiple hour side quest you found on the way.

Performance has been perfect for me (4070ti, 5800x3D) and I've experienced a single-digit number of very minor bugs (enemies stuck in 1 place, missing quest marker on map), I don't understand other reviews stating how buggy it is, that's not been my experience at all.

The space travel system at first was a little disappointing, but after completing the story and entering ng+ I'm actually glad for the fast travel system, rather than No Mans Sky style travel.

The future potential is also huge, with a whole galaxy of planets and systems completely open for both modders and future DLC this game can grow to be absolutely massive.

I rarely review games but Starfield has received a lot of hate online for no reason, it's far from a perfect generation-defining game but there's a huge amount of content to experience and fun to have, once you're some hours into the story, it's impossible not to highly recommend. My rating is 8.5/10

Amazing graphics/lighting, insane scale and super relaxing

Really good visuals, great management features, tons of ways you can customise your own zoo. The animals look amazing. A great successor to the Zoo Tycoon games

Best VR game I've played so far, lots of replayability, even better with community addons.

Sounds boring. It's not.
Very relaxing game, perfect to listen to music or watch videos with.
The quality of the map continues to improve with every update, and even after a decade since release they continue to provide high quality free updates.

10/10 Would get nuked by Ghandi again
