This game is a unique mix of turn-based strategy and first-person shooter, with a unique graphics style. While each part isn't particularky notable, the combination works quite well.

This game made me question life, the universe, and everything

An excellent game. Enough plot twists to keep me interested, but not so many it just gets confusing.

The only bad part is how it'll probably be another six years until next episode.

And is it just me, or is one of the final scenes (the nexus scene) oddly similar to one of the songs from Rakuen?

And if you stay right by my side
We'll make it through the night
And you’ll never have to feel alone again

Now it’s time for me to leave
I’m glad you built this little world with me

This one is way less known than it deserves.

It's not perfect - those random battles get boring after a while, especially given how long the later dungeons are, and the plot is suspiciously similar to Echoes of Aetheria - but well worth playing.

Fairly slow start, but well worth it.

Pretty short, and not as funny as the first one. But well worth it to support the prequel's devs.

Short but sweet. Okay, too short, but still sweet.

How am I supposed to play a game with no campaign, tutorial, manual, or any other way to learn the controls and objectives?

I like games where the difficulty comes from timing and precision, like Super Meat Boy.
I enjoy games where the difficulty is figuring out how to solve that room, like The Talos Principle.

This game does both simultaneously. Twice as good, right? No, it means I end up running into a dead end for five minutes before figuring out that's not the correct solution.

The bosses are even worse, requiring a small amount of precise timing - and a large amount of "stand there and wait for its next attack" for ten seconds.

And the next room contains another hard-to-identify-as-such dead end.

Pretty neat game. A bit unforgiving before familiarizing with the controls, but fun once you do. Recommended for everyone who likes Shovel Knight.
