Build a base, build a sandbike, build a bigger base. Go to get new mats, drive into a patch of Quicksand and get eaten by Shai-Halud. We go again.

Would (and likely will) do it again. Solid 7,8/10 too much sand

Early Access Review
With (as of right now) well over 420.69 hours played, I recommend this game. Since the initial release of the game, the game has fleshed out a bit, with major bug fixes and (as of now) a new content update on the horizon setting the framework up for more minor updates. Even on release, the game was extremely solid, even for an Early Access game. Which quite frankly, is surprising given today's plague of Early Access ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ that needed far more time in the oven. I am looking forward to the updates that are going to be coming out for this game, and can't wait to see where the story goes for this.

I have my gripes with it, but thanks to being based on Unreal Engine, Mods are possible and help deal with a majority of the issues I have. I am hoping this ends up with Steam Workshop support in the future for an even smoother modding experience.

Combat feels solid. Riding mounted into a dungeon to explore (Even if its the same layout as the last dungeon you just did) is fun. Flying around on your Pal exploring the world, even if its my 10th time doing it, is still fun. The game has major replayability, with self imposed challenges (Type lock, Nuzlocke rules, no flying, etc) you can enjoy the game on your second, third, or more playthrough, with my personal favorite being a Normal Type Lock, Ground Mount Only run.

TL;DR Game is solid. There's issues but they're being fixed (Or have been fixed since Launch) and the framework is in place for an even bigger game in the future.

Just when you think you know everything about Life on the Rim, suddenly everything changes and your entire colony you've spend days working on is obliterated because Randy decided "No"

10/10 would get told "No" by Randy again
