A MASSIVE step in the right direction, but it wasn't meant to be.

-Amazing concept and the every round is somehow different than the previous.
-Best enjoyed with a group of friends becaue in the public servers you are basically surrounded
by idiots.
-Although amazing the game feels unfinished

Good parts
+The Atmosphere is amazing
+The story and lore are deep af
+The music is legendary

Bad parts
+There aren't any so btfo you weak amerikan *censored by INGSOC*
+Gunplay is 50/50 which makes it cheeki breeki
+The mechanics are great, especially how the camera's jiggling left to right which gave me sea sickness.
+Tunnel firefights are scary af so amerkan *censored by INGSOC* are not to play this, iz for real men
+Graphics are less appealing than the insides of a soviet-old bus in Murmansk but that is a + so btfo

In conclusion: This game is pure slavness

Oh my this game is amazing.
Pros:
-WW2 setting that really captures you and immerses you in the war setting, everything in this game feels like you are in a warzone, a giant battle, even though there are 32 players at each team.
-The gun play is amazingly well done, from the bolt-action to the flamethrower feels like an actual gun.
-The visuals, even for a Source game, look really good and well optimized at that.
-Mods and Steam Workshop support.
-Unlockable items that show how much dedication you put into this game, not many games do that these days.

Cons:
-The community. I have never seen such a mixed bag of candies where 70% of the candies are rotten.
I am talking about apocalyptic levels of stupidity and autistic behaviour. Each time the map changes it's either that people put 8-9 votes on Dog Red or the don't put votes on anything, it's like freaking Buhriz and Sinjar from Insurgency.
Why pick a challenging map when you can just pick a map where you can stand on top of a hill or a bunker to shoot down an open plain with easy kills ? There are also the players that just roam around like some sort of drunken russians with mental deficiencies that literally do nothing to help the team.

In summery this game is just 9.51/10. It's a hidden gem that not everyone can appreciate or play.

Note: This is what I've always wanted from CoD WW2 but never got, because this is made by people who sincerely love making video games, while CoD is made by a giant corporation that intends ONLY to robb you out of your money.

A really nice game crafted by some polish dudes who have now proven themselves to be 1000% better than the rest of the big companies.

Oh boy, from the moment I loaded this game, I knew that it would be bad and that it would suck and that it would be just a giant massacre when it comes to Historical accuracy and other totally not related gameplay stuff.
To be clear I played the CoD series as a child, but then grew to play and love better crafted games, I never cared about the ongoing bandwagon of "Am tired of the space ♥♥♥♥♥ and the double jump, I want it to be boots on da graund liek the old CoDs".
No I never did care about this failling franchise.
The amount of ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ that came from the first reveal live stream was just amazing.
Lie after a lie after lie... and if no one comes out to point out those lies then the people who make those types of games will just keep on spewing out more garbage like this game.

First the guns!
The guns are pretty standard for a CoD game, pinpoint laser accuracy from minimal to none learning curve.
The sound is bad as always, went to the "field" to test them out yet you made the sounds by using a computer instead of using real sounds.
Then you get to the unrealistic stuff, at the reveal live stream they went on to say how they put sooo much work into making the the game authentic and how they went to the field to test out guns. Well... no, you still get to use red dot sights for most of the guns. You can even reload one of the snipers right through the scope !

After all why would you even try to make the guns as close to the original ones as possible? That would only make the game harder and we don't want to drive our kiddie community and console peasants with REALISTIC stuff, no no no that would only break the CoD formula.

Multiplayer, Maps and Gamemodes.
You are making A LOT of money out of this game and you just keep on using Peer to Peer servers that are not relieable to play. They lag, crash, loose connection all the times and the fact that you haven't changed that system to dedicated servers only shows how much you actually care about this game's community.
The Maps are just awfull, especially with the grenade spam. Yes I love dying from grenades all the time.
The War gamemode is basically doing TDM, but with progressing objectives. It basically goes from capture the flag to repair something to blow something up to push a car... I mean a tank to an objective. It's just a normal gamemode from other famous fps games that should've been in CoD since the beginning.

The Character Customization.
Putting women(especially black ones) in the multiplayer is just a ♥♥♥♥♥♥ excuse for you to push an agenda.
The stuff you said about adding them was even more stupid! Putting ME in the shoes of the soldier that I WANT TO BE is just ♥♥♥♥. All right I am a bulgarian, how am I going to express that trough my character? Bulgarian flag? Bulgarian uniforms? Bulgarian Yogurt?
Ah yes a black female nazi officer with a (possibly)pink STG-44 with a red dot sight, that definitely screams Bulgaria doesn't it? Yes never forget those brave black women who fought for Bulgaria in WW2, thank you Sledgehammer!

The Overly-Glorified Story.
Oh come oooon presenting ww2 like it's some giant fight between Good and Evil is just boring and Hypocritical.
Over glorifying your side is just hypoctitical as I said, If you think that presenting yourself in this conflict as some sort of amazingly good people, you are wrong. The Allies are responsible for bombing my country Bulgaria that was basically forced to join the Axis, we never sent troops to neither front, nor the west nor the East, yet american and british planes still bombed Sofia and a lot of the cities around it after that you just dropped 2 nuclear bombs over Japan even though you could've just left the Japanese alone on that Island and wait for their economy to starve or at least exhaust them.
The Allies's war crimes are not different than Hiler's war crimes yet you still think that you are in the right because you stopped him.

The Censorhip.
Phohohoho you never learn from History do you? Again we all know that removing the infamous swastika from the game was to appeal to even more kiddies and oversensitive normies who take everything that is rold on TV to be true.
The more you try to censorhip things, the bigger the outcry will be, that will only make the story bigger and that will probably drive people to look into Nacional Socialist ideologies, because we all know that different ideologies appeal to different people. You can't stop and you shouldn't, the only way to stop it is to not talk about and not make a fuzz around it because that will have the opposite effect.

In Conclusion.
CoD WW2 is basically the McDonalds of the fps games. Looks nice on the advertisements, but the more you play it the more you realize how ♥♥♥♥ it is and how much does the company behind cares about you. It's jsut a giant cash grab running on nostalgia and fanboy hopes in order to bring it's master more money. Stay away from it and if you want to give your hard earned money to someone who cares about you, buy yourself and your friends Red Orchestra or Day of infamy, it's cheaper, it's better it's crafted with love.
