This DLC is extremely boring and outright stupid. How did you take the few good aspects of the base game and just removed them. For what ? What was the point ? Nobody likes the stupid pushing forward of your 5 dudes until next checkpoint happens, let me play the game ffs.
This game had a lot of potential but it's just squandered on stupid design choices. You made me feel cheated out of my 8 bucks. Whoever's the cretin making these creatively bankrupt choices should feel ashamed and probably just quit.

Some of the design choices seem extremely stupid compared to the OG DRG.
This could've easily been a good co-op dungeon crawler like Synthetik but Vampire Survivors sell more.

I sincerely apologize to this game for wasting ~1500 on a hollow game like ESO, instead on this masterpiece.

It is an overall improvement over Rome 1 to be honest(it should've done a lot more but yeah well... we aren't getting anything better now).
The remaster feels and looks as something meant to be played on a tablet, which is a minus.
Buuuuut it's still Rome 1 with some updates on top of it.
Should you get it ? Yes. Now ? Wait for a sale first, or try to get it before CA goes bankrupt.
I was gonna say something about Imperium Surrectum but it's not like you can give them reddit gold here or anything.

They really didn't do much with this game, some new factions, renamed the "Colonial Age" because this word is double negative so saying it might the people who don't play this game. Added some more campaigns and missions with story, not interested sry, like who are you pandering to ? Most muslims play CNC generals on gameranger or pirated games... or Dota 2.
How did you make the pirate lady from the first campaign uglier ? Is one of the bosses in your studio some obese lady who can't stand other women ? Very bizarre decision.
They also moved a lot of the UI thingys around, like you do realize most of the playerbase is used to the old game ? Right ? Probably less 10% of the people who bought the game are new, so moving all the things around made my brain hurt a lot. The person who made these decisions wasn't bullied in school enough.
Overall, stick to the old one, the story was utterly retarded but at least it has soul. This is just stupid

Game had a lot of potential but the publisher had a big brain idea, they wanted to copy WoT and make a lot of money the way they did. But WoT being the sunk-cost fallacy and the only game occupying this very specific space on the market, it wasn't going to work. So Obsidian decided to make an actually fun game, expand it a lot and have a lot more originality than WoT. So the publisher did another big brain think and removed them. Killing the game in the process and making sure they never get any money. So now they basically hold other trash games as hostage on their ret*rded platform as a way to bring in cocaine money. RIP Armored Warfare, you had potential.

It seems the game was silently moved away from, the devs teased some sort of lava planet and put up a roadmap but it's just dead in the water at this point.
The should've probably went for the more traditional approach of building bases and gathering rss. Since this is one of those NuStrategy games like They are Billions, it would've been perfect to add some sort of Co-op like how you can share units and coordinate with your friends in Men of War AS2, instead they focused on... ehm... "not very smart" additions like scoreboards and "challenges". Clearly the game lacks focus and """creativity"'''.
Soooo... no don't buy it, it's trash. Since the game is limited in how you acquire units, the maps feel very linear and the way you battle out bugs just falls apart when the field is more open.

I have no words to describe the disappointment I feel for this game. Modders are already outdoing the studio so don't expect it get finished in the near future.
