I have been playing this game since it came out on mobile (2011) and i then moved to the PC version around 5 years ago, the game even tho it presents as a sandbox is really focused on the combat system, and the goal for most players is to kill all bosses, to do so you will be able to collect lots and lots of different weapons and accessories (divided in 4 classes summoner, ranger, mage and melee). The game makes your character progress through gear that you'll first get exploring and in late game craft or get from mobs and bosses. The gameplay is not repetitive at all because of the 17 bosses and lots of events.
For the construction lovers this game gives you lot's of blocks, walls and forniture for building.

This is one of the finest indie games i've ever played, if you saw all the gameplay you couldn't tell this game costs only 15€ it's just a steal at that price...
Hollow knight is a metroidvania game based on his really complete battle system, it's not complex but it has everything which makes the learning curve just perfect, you don't end the game with a completely different character, your basic actions will be the same but you'll be able to feel a better player.
⚫The fights always feel fair nothing is random it's all skill and that's why you will be fine with repeating the same fight over and over again until you get it done.
⚫The mapping system is really good, it makes you remember the map better cause you have to explore it to unlock the map of the area.
⚫The map layout is pure gold, most of the areas are connected and as you explore you'll find hints of a new area and it will get you more immersed and curious.
⚫The game does not hold your hand, it will tell you all you need, nothing is confusing you can get a power up and learn how to use it without a stupid tutorial or anything.
⚫The main motive to play is just your curiosity, you have to get immersed and you'll go on until you reach the end either if you get the story or not if you get engaged you'll stay until the end.
⚫Really good platforming sections.
⚫The developers are really good with their community and the updates added a lot of cool stuff even tho even the base game was more than complete.
⚫For only 15€ (or 7,50€ on sale) the game offers you lots of hours of fun, i have completed my run in around 50h.
🔴You risk to get lost at the start and that could get you disengaged, if so i reccomand starting a new file, a friend of mine had this problem but after restarting he completed his save file with over 40hrs.
🔴The game has a pretty cool lore too but i have to admit it's pretty hard to get it all in a blind run.

I'm a really big fan of Edmund McMillen, this game is really interesting, it can really give a lot of quality hours.

Interessante gioco, molto lontano da un horror e sicuramente molto lontano da qualcosa di competitivo a volte si dimostra davvero appagante in quella partita su 100 in cui non vuoi rompere il muro a testate...

l'ho appena finito e sono senza parole, per pochi soldi un'ottima storia ben narrata e dalle tinte horror, considerando il prezzo posso dire che questo gioco è da comprare al 100% se vi interessa una bella storia, non c'è molto di gameplay però come spesso capita in giochi simili quindi se cercate quello non è il gioco per voi

Questo indie è uno dei migliori rompicapo che abbia mai visto, comprende una serie di quest più o meno complesse per ogniuno dei 6 personaggi,posso assicurarvi che vi intrigherà molto soprattutto quando,per arrivare ad un obbiettivo, dovrete intrecciare le quest, anche se il tema e il titolo lo fanno sembrare un gioco "per bambini" noterete fin da subito tutte le cose inquietanti di questo asilo, il gioco è solido e non pecca quasi in niente,completandolo al 100% non ho trovato bugs e i tempi morti erano dati solo dal mio continuo ripetere qualcosa per colpa di un MIO errore.Una trama ai limiti del nosense e moltissimi dialoghi, modificabili tramite le scelte , porteranno a stuzzicare la fantasia; per rendere più facili le quest c'è un menù apposito per gli indizi.Oltre alle quest principali ci sono ben 25 carte,se le collezionerete tutte e le porterete in un certo luogo potrete accedere a un easter egg.Non mentirò nel dire che per finire questo gioco ho nerdato come un ossessionato proprio oggi.Vi consiglio vivamente di non farvi spoiler e di non guardare nessuna guida, al massimo vi concedo di guardarne una per le carte.
infine c'è da dire che, per comprendere a pieno e riuscire nel gioco servirà una conoscenza (piuttosto basilare) dell'inglese, io non ho avuto problemi ma non consiglierei di giocarci a qualcuno che non conosce decentemente l'inglese.
Io consiglio vivamente l'acquisto soprattutto ora che è in sconto ;).

Questo è ufficialmente il mio gioco preferito,le musiche sono fantastiche quanto la storia;non costa tanto e anche solo per supportare lo sviluppatore non sarebbe una brutta idea comprarlo e, vi prego non scaricatelo illegalmente perchè merita.
Concludo dicendo di NON farsi spoiler su youtube e che questo è un gioco da giocare e non solo da guardare.

un gioco che ti fa passare abbastanza bene qualche ora
