While I have enjoyed this game quite a bit in the first ~20 hours of gameplay, after reaching certain milestones in the game's story, the quality, or rather playability, of the game suffers severely.

I currently find myself stuck on a side quest, the failure of which results in consequences, that I would rather avoid.
However, the side quest is bugged to the point that, regardless of how much I attempt to avoid the bugs that cause the quest to fail, it fails.

I've attempted to fix the issue via console commands and via reloading saves that are 2 hours old, replaying the entire section of the game, only to find it is bugged again.

The core gameplay is enjoyable, the gunplay is great.

The game itself is, in my opinion, not yet in a playable state. Once these issues are fixed; alongside A-Life being implemented, the game will be great.

Edit: They have since fixed the aforementioned bug, thus I am changing the review to positive.
It still has many issues; especially in terms of stability and performance, and A-Life has still not been implemented.
Either way, I'm able to continue playing, and am still enjoying it very much.

It's ok.

Helldivers 2 is a fantastic game.

Sony has gone back on their decision to force PC players to link their steam accounts to a PSN account.

Just completed my first playthrough, and overall, it's been an amazing experience.
I'm absolutely in love with the game, it's characters and the story it tells.

I sincerely hope they make narrative expansions.

Definitely one of my favorite games of all time.

Simply put, while it may be a bit of a buggy mess, this game is still amazing.

I played it when it first released, and I enjoyed every moment of it.

Used to be decent, back in 2018 or so, absolute garbage now.

After quitting WoW, which felt like an abusive relationship, FFXIV swooped in and showed me what a MMORPG is meant to feel like.

I've not played this game that much, mostly just done MP w/ some friends, and I've enjoyed it greatly. - Definitely worth buying, especially if you feel that you're burned out on Survival Games, this one simply has a different feel to it.

Now, before I get into the actual review, I think it's important to note that this is my first ever experience with a Souls-like game and as such, should be taken from the viewpoint of an absolute noob.

I got the game with no clue about it's story or gameplay, only having heard from some friends that it was similar to games such as Dark Souls, now, I'd never been too fond of Dark Souls, as it seemed like a repetitive hellhole to me, yet I decided to give this game a try and I don't regret it whatsoever.

The game controls well, I only had to rebind the ability keys from F1-F8 to something else, as that was quite janky in my opinion, but otherwise I have no complaints at all.

The story had me captivated from the moment I defeated my first boss, not counting the tutorial boss. I'm about 19 hours in, and it feels like the story is just now picking up in pace, revealing some of the antagonists and such.

TL;DR
Fantastic game, not too hard, yet still at times mildly frustrating. If you don't mind anime-esque visuals and storytelling, it's an absolute must have in my opinion.
