This is one of the better non-fromsoft soulslikes I've played, though it does have some problems.
Overall, I had a blast playing this, the unique take on a dying RPG world with a narrator who hates, and the gameplay additions, Insight and Luck bonuses make it feel a lot more fresh, though it does lend itself to balance issues.

One of the biggest gripes I feel is the hit detection, there are times when I've been right up in an enemy's face and attacks have simply fizzled into the air, while others are quite far away and hit perfectly. Another is the weird progression of difficulty, some areas I have been able to get by scott-free, but is then followed up by enemies that can 2 shot you at 1100+ health that have marginal windows to fight back.

Another big problem is the seeming lack of NG+, unless I missed something that tells me about it, I can't find any option to move to NG+, which is a shame because I would love to play through it again.

Though these issues don't stop me from having a great time playing it

If you're a hardcore HOTD fan, it's well worth it.

I even think the soundtrack (probably the most contentious part of this game) is mostly bangers, though granted I haven't played HOTD 1 nearly as much as the others and don't really have as much nostalgia as a result.

It's a fine enough game, really held back by it's extremely short length, really something that needs a "maybe" button for recommendations.
First proper/blind playthrough took me a whopping 3 hours and 45 minutes.
The gameplay is still the same stuff from RE2make, which was fantastic, but now there's a clunky dodge that doesn't work half the time, so that's nice.
The bosses kinda sucked for the most part, particularly the second to last one, where the dodging issues are really apparent.

It's a good game, but get it when it's on sale, it's not worth full price.

first time playing halo ever, wasn't expecting much from the progenitor of the slow paced two weapon limit FPS games, and boy was i disappointed

i've decided to give this review an edit so i can properly list my grievances with this, granted, i've only played reach, which is considered the worst of the series, but i wouldn't be holding my breath for the rest of the series

The Gameplay -
I've found it to be incredibly slow and frustrating to play, it feels as though your player character is perpetually on ice and like you're fighting against your character, rather than controlling them.
Feedback on hits is basically non-existent at a distance, I have literally no idea if I'm hitting an enemy or not, combined with weapons that feel more like pea-shooters than advanced futuristic space weapons.
The abilities are incredibly arbitrary, if your game has sprinting a class choice, it might be a bit questionable.
And this one is more of a gripe, but the UI (especially for objective-based games like CTF or whatever) is not intuitive at all, if I'm on the Red team, I don't want to see my UI coated in blue, I can't tell if that means it's the Blue base or the Red base, even teammates have a blue marker over their head, why?

The Campaign -
I haven't beaten it, I got too bored and frustrated, the game soft-locked me at one point with an autosave next to an insta-death explosion that was not obvious was explosive at all. I got a tad further in but it just felt incredibly stale and formulaic to me.

As a newcomer, I wouldn't bother with this, but if you're a fan of this since before it came out, I guess my words aren't gonna sway you.

The Sexy Brutale is a really good game, if you're into puzzle games, check it out.
Almost everything about this game is top notch, the gameplay mechanics, the story and its ending, the soundtrack, the visual design.
However the game's final puzzles are a bit disappointing, I was expecting to have to save everyone in one go, if that would be possible or not I don't know.
The controls can be a bit confusing to wrap your head around at first but you get used to it fairly quickly.
Another thing I think the game could do with is an ability to pass the time without visiting the clocks, it'd make waiting for events that happen later on much more tolerable and having to use the clocks may mean you miss them.

Besides that, which are only really little complaints and don't detract much, this is a very good puzzle game and no other game has really experimented with a concept like this the way The Sexy Brutale has.
8/10, great gameplay, ends on a bit of a whimper

Long story short, I love this game, would recommend.
Eets Munchies is a follow up to one of the games I played in my childhood 10+ years ago (I was like 4/5 or something) and is very similar in terms of gameplay.
The art style of the game is nice and cute, while personally I think that the first game has slightly more character, here the different variations of Eets don't look as visually distinct from one another, but Eets is much cuter than the first game.
The audio of this game is brilliant, the music is extremely upbeat and each item in the 60 levels make different musical sounds and in different ways (in the case of Eets)
However, one criticism I have is that there isn't as much content as before, this game has 60 levels whereas the first game has more (I don't know exactly how much more, but I'm on the 5th world out of 7 and I can confirm there are more than 60 levels)
Some mechanics present in the previous game, such as Eets being afraid of the dark, aren't present in this game, which is disappointing, this might be because this game (I presume) is a mobile port and as such might be packing less content, but it would be nice if this version had more content to offer.
Another thing I was a bit disappointed about was the lack of an ending, it felt anticlimactic and wasn't rewarding at all.
Verdict: great game, i'm probably still blinded by the nostalgia, 8.5/10

This DLC is the sort of thing that really requires a "meh" button, it's a pretty mediocre DLC.

The Pros:
The continuation of the story and how it fleshes out the aftermath of the main game.
The gameplay feels pretty solid as should be expected.
Some of the reveals and how they play out are quite satisfying and add to the development of the protagonist.
Punching enemies and pulling off combos can be very satisfying.
There are more enemy types then in the previous game and I like how it experiments more with this Mold virus and how it can affect the wildlife aswell.

The Cons:
It's hard to take this DLC seriously at all, because your main weapon for the entire DLC is your fists and using fists against the moldy boys doesn't sound like a very good tactic unless you want to get eaten.
Stealth killing enemies involves breaking their necks so hard their heads explode, using your bare hands. This isn't really something that should fit in Resident Evil 7 and is more fitting in either REs 4-6 or DOOM.
There isn't much in terms of weapon variety, you get around 3 weapons (one of which can get upgraded) and all of them except the fists feel kind of situational.
The mutated alligator part is the worst thing in this DLC, the path to the left of the river to get more spears isn't exactly very visible and if the alligators spot you or not when you are to the side of them is essentially a dice roll.
The final boss and his abilities are a bit cheap and can be very hard to avoid, which can be annoying.
You get way too much healing items, I finished the game with 2 stacks of first aid meds and 2 stacks of bugs (this DLCs version of herbs)
It's short, only between 1-1.5 hours in length, and given the price if you did not get the season pass, can be seen as quite expensive.
The DLC is a continuation of one of the possible choices made towards the end of the game, rendering that part even more meaningless as there is just going to be a canon and non canon choice.

Verdict: 6/10, it's a competently made mod, but I don't feel as though it's fitting for a game like Resident Evil 7.

Modern Warfare: Remastered is one of the most insulting games I have ever been unfortunate enough to play.
The microtransactions are a joke, they can actually go castrate themselves with a rusty tin opener.
The gameplay itself is a joke, the campaign is fine but everything else is a carton of urine mixed with faeces.
The optimisation is a joke, I can lower everything down to lowest graphical settings and still get frame rate dips. HOW DO YOU MESS THAT UP SO BADLY
So I give this game a -1000/10 because of how generally terrible it is.
I want my money back.

I like this game.
It has tons of character and style to it. While it isn't that scary it does create good tension and ambience, ambiance or however you spell it.
My main issue is that both of the chapters are too short, I've played both of them around twice and have just clocked 1.5 hours.

This DLC polarises me. It's basically a selection of 2 minigames, nightmare is fun and has *some* replay value but bedroom is just a one trick pony, you can only really play it once and that's it, nothing really gets randomized or changed up.
Not really worth the money.
