Black Mesa.... where to start
Black Mesa is a completley remastered version of half life inside of the source engine. The graphics are beatiful and gameplay elements are vastly improved. Not to mention, the game has an extraordinary soundtrack composed by Joel Nielsen. Despite these, the story is also reworked. The story now mentions charcters that were in Half Life 2 who had no mention in the original half life. The only downside to the game is that 'Xen' levels have not yet been implemented, with the game ending after 'Lambda Core'. It's worth mentioning that the chapter 'On A Rail' has been reduced in size, but a community mod for it is avaliable on the steam workshop. Overall, Black Mesa is something of a gem and i highly recommend to anyone who loved the original Half Life.

Really fun game to play, big improvement from the first game. Love all the new mechanics and how in depth exploring the prisons can really be.
