7 hours in, still waiting for the part when it becomes fun. It looks nice, but doesn't play nice. Seems like it was planned to be a great game, then half-way through became rushed to just release it and move on.

I'm humbled to have had the privilege of experiencing Cyberpunk 2077, an unforgettable masterwork.

The staggering effort put into the story, characters, dialogue, sound design, actually innovative gameplay mechanics, player freedom, etc, is evident, but more importantly, it's fun. More than nearly any other game in my collection. I'm truly in awe of this meticulously-crafted world, impressed with how well it turned out in the end. It seems to incorporate a little bit of everything and, unlike many other unfortunate game development efforts, somehow done it successfully. I can't help but watch the entire credits roll in appreciation of every name and their dedication. The people at CD PROJEKT RED have earned a level of respect that I didn't think was possible within today's game-development landscape.

Cyberpunk 2077 is a monumental achievement that will be forever remembered throughout gaming history. It brings a smile to the faces of all who've journeyed through it.

Even if we never get a successor to Cyberpunk 2077, I'll still be happy.

Early Access Review
It's like a mediocre unity game that was put together for a Game Jam festival.

Good concept, bad execution.

Even with many of the fixes and improvements over the years, I don't believe it's worth buying.
It's essentially a walking simulator combined with a tech demo of "We Made Everything Procedural", while simultaneously making pretty much everything redundant/repetitive. Base building is a pretty awful experience, and getting through the rest of the game feels like a chore. MANY annoyances can probably be addressed by improving the UI to be more intuitive.

It feels like the game developers are more into the development aspect without having enough experience playing other games to have a good idea of what makes games enjoyable to play.

This is basically a how-to guide on ruining a franchise and backstabbing the original fanbase.

Seems like they put the most effort possible in visuals, while neglecting to make a decent story.
They've tried to take the dying approach of most cookie-cutter movies where most of it only makes sense if you're not actually paying attention to it.

After 4 years since it was released (according to Steam), even the tutorial still has issues.

This "game" has a campaign with about 50% cutscenes/movies that are just annoying.

The sound design is awful, completely detracting from what's actually happening in-game, forcing me to just mute my speakers.

I'd be ashamed if I had a part in the development of this, and yet the producers wanted their names in big letters at the beginning of the campaign, as if they had actually made something worthwhile.

It's one of those "Polished Turds". Don't bother.

The developer has made a series of games with different visuals, but no actual improvements to the "simulation" between any since the original "Spin Tires" tech demo. NEVER buy from Sabre Interactive.

Seems like anymore they spend more money on garbage marketing than actually making the game better.

As for this game, visually it looks great, but has one of the worst "simulation" engines I've had the displeasure of experiencing. From how it looks to me, there's more realism in how the mud visually gets deformed by driving through it, but as for a realistic simulation of the trucks themselves: JUNK.

A very obvious example that comes up quite often, is how in a 4-wheel scout truck with giant wheels, being maybe a few INCHES deep in mud, not being held by anything, will be in 4th gear, all 4 tires spinning very fast, and yet I'll be moving 1.5 MPH. It's garbage. You'll also get damaged by going too fast on clear, straight, paved roads. Nearly every truck becomes unstable over 20 MPH on paved "highways" as well.

I keep coming back to this, as I REALLY want to enjoy this game, but I end up quitting every time because of how simply annoying and frustrating it is to play. If it was more "realistic" but made sense, I would probably love this, but instead it's a poor example of a "simulation" game.

Not worth it. Plays like a college video game project made in a few semesters.
