I'd give this a "Maybe" recommendation if I could.

Pros: The style and graphics gorgeous, the sailing physics are real enough to make me sea sick, and the gameplay on its own is super fun. I had a blast during the intro / tutorial mission.

Cons: PVP only. If you don't have any friends who are interested in this game, don't bother. Playing solo is miserable. The players I've encountered are some of the most toxic lose-your-faith-in-humanity people I've experienced in PVP gaming. I'm sure there are plenty of chill people who play this game, but I have yet to meet them. It doesn't matter how small or noob-adjacent your ship is - people with giant galleons will attack you and they will be childish about it.

It's not as fast paced or "metal" as the other Doom games, but it's still a lot of fun. The game looks amazing and runs well. The atmosphere is incredible, especially if you stick to the original version's vision and keep your flashlight off during combat. I think my only complaint is that the BFG edition is just too easy. Turn up the difficulty if you play it. Additionally, don't buy it for the included ports of Doom 1 and 2. There are better ports of those two games elsewhere.

Get it. Why?
1) It's free.
2) Left4Dead2 nostalgia.
3) The weapons are pretty strong especially in the early game.
4) Hehe frying pan go "bong," bandit go "ow!"

The game itself is pretty fun, especially when you get a good commander or squad lead who knows what they're doing. You don't need a mic if you aren't a leader, but you need to be willing to follow orders. If you like the team-based "hardcore" FPS games, give this one a try.

This game is loads of fun. Imagine the parkour of Assassin's Creed mixed with the first person zombie-smashing action of Left 4 Dead, plus some crafting for good measure, and you've got Dying Light. I haven't finished the entire story but so far it's nothing mind-blowing. Most of the voice acting is also nothing fancy. My only real complaint is that it can sometimes run like dried dog crap on a hot sidewalk, I'm assuming because of the large amounts of AI since it doesn't seem to be taxing my graphics card very much. If you can deal with some frame drops in busy areas like the bridge, then go for it. It's really cathartic.

It's pretty fun. Sadly it lacks even the small community that Verdun has. Even so I would say it's worth a buy if you like Verdun.

Even if you aren't into guns this game is interesting from a mechanical standpoint. I can't NOT recommend at least trying a few hours playing this especially since it's free. There is a lot of DLC but you don't need that just to try the game out.

Excellent WW1 game, deserves way more players than it has.

It's free and it's an incredibly fun addiction - did I say addiction? As I meant to say, an incredibly fun ADDITION to Victor's arsenal.

Yes it SHOULD be in the main game, but if you want an actual review:

For the convenience it adds to the game, it's worth the price. Costs no in-game money and is ready to go the second you boot up the game. Be aware that it IS a vehicle and it makes the same noise a real-world vehicle would, so it will scare animals. It's also vulnerable to damage.
