I loved Rogue Legacy. When I saw this, I expected a fun Serious Sam romp in a cel-shaded skin. What I got was exactly that - but with all my favourite elements of Rogue Legacy thrown in the mix. Tons of guns, great difficulty balance (with some luck decided whether or not you're going to have a pleasant run or hell on earth), plus includes the Quake 3 Rocket Launcher. You can't go wrong.

So fantastic. If there is a single 3D platformer worthy of a sequel, this is it. If you've never played this one through to the end, it is a necessity to do so - you'll find a title full of wit and fantastic gameplay, bundled with an excess of charm. Buy it!

Hotline Miami feels like Drive dosed with the original GTA. Based around blowing the living ♥♥♥♥ out of anything that moves, Hotline is seriously addictive, interesting and needs to be played. Oh, and the music is simply fantastic. Buy it.

Fantastic. Never has an opening had me so thrilled since wandering into City 17... Bioshock: Infinite opens extremely well, and continues to give throughout; loaded with fast-paced combat (including the always-missed Skyrails), interesting powers and tons of guns. However, whilst combat may be centric to the whole ordeal, the true excellence of Infinite rests with its sublime story-telling and the never-forgotten Elizabeth. Buy it.

Weird and wonderful. There really isn't a universe like the one featured in Zeno Clash, and that coupled with the most robust first person fisticuff system makes for one hell of a game. Bonus: The challenge towers are a ton of fun.

This was amazing. A truly great tale of a boy saving the world as he knows it, narrated by the fantastic (really, really fantastic) Logan Cunningham. Buy it, play it, love it!

A fun Stephen King-esque romp. I found it intriguing, and the premise is nice overall - even if the gameplay gets just a little to repetitive.

Limbo consistently grips you - I found myself playing in almost one sitting. It may be short, it may be relatively simple/easy, but it makes up for it all by just being compelling. And such is a hard goal to achieve in a short, simple game.
