Turned out5 to be a really enjoyable lighthearted game.

After the patches it is a great game.

Ancient game. Played it for the first time. Graphics arent top notch, but neither are they particularly bad. Whomever did the AI for the xeno's deserves an award. They climbing all over roof, walls etc is amazing. I would love longer campaigns!

Amazing game

Started 2033 redux a few times. Never felt it. Tried again and just played 2033, Last Light and now Exodus in two weeks. Atmosphere is pretty awesome. Its definitely given me a reason to read the books!

Constant server disconnects currently make this a 0/10

EDIT was fixed

Game is still alpha. Been playing a few weeks and already seen a massive amount of changes. The Devs seem to listen, from implementing the removal of a timer a few weeks after feedback, to simplifying the power level system.

All in all I am well impressed.

I did have a few issues last night with freezes and so forth, but I am still really enjoying the game. The only downside is full release is 5 or so months away. :(

EDIT: Waiting for Nov patch to come back to this....

Got distracted a year ago and stopped playing. Came back. Realised I didnt even know how to swing a sword as I forgot everything.
Checked played time 150 hours.

Decided to restart. Deleted all my saves so I was all in.
Game wouldn't load. Realised it was redownoading all my saves.
Screw you for being awesome CD Projekt Red.

Restarted anyway.
Realised how big this game was.
Cried.

11/10. Would restart again.

EDIT: Totally worth it.

Last few months I have gotten really bored of Hearthstone. This has been an acceptable second.

So I installed last night, did the first campaign. After that I was sitting there with what felt like a thumb up my a**. It couldn't connect to servers. After one hour of uptime. Ok not really an issue. Oh wait, I can't do anything, and if I do manage to continue the quests, they don't get saved.


How on earth can a company not realize stress load in this day and age for a product they KNOW will be massively used. Hell they even have metrics and usage from all the previous messages.
Seriously, pull your finger out. Get better engineers/technical program managers or such. This crap shouldn't have happened. I thought we had gone past the days of launch day taking down the product. This now looks like amateur hour.

The game itself was very enjoyable. The "learning" bits were extremely basic, and to anyone who has played a single game of magic, would be pretty damn boring. But I was afraid to ignore them in case I lost out on gold :P
First campaign was short, white weenie deck was fun. Storyline was nothing to write home about, but that has never mattered in Magic.
Im looking forward to playing more.
The interface seemed pretty crisp. Menus were pretty much what they said on the tin, unlike the unmitigated car crash of Duels 2015.
Load times were relatively ok. Could be faster, but could be an absolute disaster like Duels 2015.
So when they figure out their network/processing issues, Ill be playing a good bit of this. That being said opening day was a disaster, even after they pushed back the release!

Recommendations:
Game seems good. Technical incompetence screwing what is probably the best Duels to date.
