Pretty good game, but ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ developers. Kovarex lost the plot. Cannot recommend supporting them.

Probably the best release by Paradox so far. Yes, it has a lot of issues and things that needs to be fixed, but it's also extremely fun and addictive. If you like watching your nation industrialize and the GDP and Pop lines go Brrrrr, you're in the right place. Definitely a game that split the community - a lot of people want the game to be something it's not. If you don't enjoy watching lines go up, it's probably not for you. For the rest of us, it sucks up our lives, blink and it's morning.

Pretty much what Factorio would be if it was a Grand Stategy Game. I CANNOT WAIT to see what Paradox has in store for us in the coming years, because as a base to build their game on? This is excellent.

So, is it Pharaoh in Babylonia? Yes.

Is there a certain lifelessness in your towns due to the absence of walkers, like the Steam reviews are saying? Yes, they're right. I don't think that walkers need to fulfill any function necessarily like they did in Pharaoh, the game works a bit differently in that respect which is not bad because the Pharaoh system definitely had issues (looking at you, market seller that randomly stops going left for 1 year and lets the houses on the left side of the market degrade into huts), but it would be really nice to see the people walk around, even if just for decorative purposes. I hope they'll add that eventually.

Still worth it? Sure. I mean, it's Pharaoh in Babylonia, is there any other "Pharaoh in Babylonia" game that you can compare it too? No, so go and get it. Worth every €.
