I was sceptical because of reviews mentioning the combat system

When I got into it I actually enjoyed duelling with that combat system, your camera is fixed on the opponent and with the mouse you can control the direction from which you attack instead, cool concept.

But that's the point, I enjoyed duelling.
The game stops being fun as soon as you get to a point where you will encounter multiple enemies with armor, it is downright impossible to fight multiple people at once when they can withstand more than one or two attacks because get this: The fixed camera that is supposed to free your mouse for attack angles is a hot mess when trying to decide which enemy it should focus.

You attack an enemy and soon get ganged up by the entire camp, you cannot block, you cannot run you will simply be destroyed without any chance of striking back. That is for one because you get sort of stun-locked by enemies that are all around you and secondly because of said camera switching around and making you lose orientation very quickly.

Promising game but I personally can't bring myself to continue playing with such an unbalanced mess of mid-lategame combat it simply takes a lot of fun away in a combat focused game.

I appreciate the game putting effort into realism, but for the sake of gameplay and fun it should've really been made in a way that you cannot be attacked by enemies that are not currently focused by the auto camera...

Worked fine for me, if you read the other reviews it might have been luck but I had no bugs.
The map is... okay, when you are there you have multiple options to enter the house, but getting to the area is a long walk straight down a road with guards here and there.
To be undetected you will take so much time for this way to even reach Wolf Mountain that the Austrian Painter will have completed a chunk of his daily routine.

Yes you do unlock 2 additional spawns but it is impossible to do some of the assassinations on the first run... the map design really could have been better and more open for more ways to approach.
But on a discount for under 5 bucks there really isnt much to complain about.

Maybe it's better with controller or joystick, but controls on keyboard+mouse are not very good.

What bothered me especially was that you can NOT look around by holding a button and moving mouse, but you TOGGLE looking around and thus lose control if you decide to look around... meh...

Hollow Knight Review

Game has been beaten with 77% completion by an average gamer (me)
What. A. Game, really.
I was just looking for games that have controller support since I had acquired on lately. I stumbled across Hollow Knight, saw that it is a metroidvania and thought "Well why not? You have played all the Metroid games so this should be a game for you!" And... yes, it was/ is still a very good game.

What I liked
- Hollow Knight has a beautiful, outstanding artstyle
- Amazing, huge world that is very athmospheric, gave me some Nausicaa vibes
- Beautiful soundtrack
- Controls and mechanics are easy to learn, yet hard to master (I still suck at pogo jumping)
- It is very non-linear, find your own path and memorise obstacles you might overcome later
- Combat is very fun once you get the hang of it (especially bosses)
- Everything is immersive and makes sense, even the fast travel mechanic needed in such a massive world is executed in an amazing way

Things that mildly annoyed me, but are okay in the grand scheme of things
- Not having a save point before a boss made it a true pain to platform through an area multiple times upon defeat until I unlocked the dream gate but at that point I only had the finale before me
- Hitboxes of thornes/spikes are sometimes very... questionably large
- Things that do a damage of 2, very, very annoying
- Pogo sections, pain, pure paiiiin

Things I did not enjoy at all
- Why do you take 1/3 of my soul-meter when I die? When I fail at a hard section it is not very kind of you to cripple me and expect me to retrieve my soul that way, the otherwise lost geo is more than enough of a motivation to retrieve it

I overall recommend it, had a very wonderful experience apart from some very frustrating moments (at which I recommend to take a break for a few hours/until next day, nothing works better when you are mad)
I might come back to try and get the other endings at one point, but that's my review for now

I wish Steam had a middle ground for reviews...

Like part one, Little Nightmares two has an outstanding Tim Burton-ish style with an incredible athmosphere, due to graphical improvements alongside more gameply possibilities it's even scarier than part one. I overall recommend it BUT want to mention a few things before you buy.

1. You NEED a controller, yes the game is playble with mouse + keyboard, but chapter 3 is near impossible without a controller, keyboard keybinds are cancer

2. Trial and error is a key gameplay feature, if you are bothered by it I don't think you will have fun here

3. Clunkyness, here and there in the game you will get stuck on some random decorational objects, especially some tense escape moments are often ruined by this and sadly even the final boss has been more annoying to me because tension was lost after some stupid bugs, completely killing the intended athmosphere

A roundabout 3hr game with a "nice" unsettling atmosphere, incredible artstyle and fun gameplay.

Must have, though I heavily recommend a controller as keyboard and mouse are pretty bad

Early Access Review
A very promising game!
Since it's early access and not done yet I won't list negative points, but rather list my ideas for improving.

Pro:
- Very easy to control, both design and driving
- You have a lot of depth when it comes to designing your suspension, engine etc
- Graphics are better than they would need to be for this kind of game, nicely done
- A lot of possibilities and combinations despite the "limited" options we have for some parts
- Scenarios allow you to test your tanks in combat
- Developer seems to be working at godspeed, almost all bugs that were present on day 1 have been fixed in less than a week

Things to improve:
- Allow player to change Era in Sandbox
- Allow player to make custom scenarios, set Era, select what tanks the enemy and you have, set own limit for tanks in battle
- Add rangefinding Mechanism
- Add a lot more variety of parts overall, some components only have one single option to put on your tank, others have more
- Add the option to make open top vehicles
