Brought this on a discount for the price of a can of coke.
Got the experience of doing a line of coke.

Cocaine is good. Vampire Survivors is good.

It's weird. The developer clearly has amazing ideas, but the execution on a technical level didn't win me over.
I liked bits of it, but it is a very "watchable" game rather than a "playable" one, but it's 250 INR (5$) so I can understand.
As for each chapter:

1) Split Screen and Alone: I really liked the differences between what the player sees and what the camera picks up. To notch wizardry there. And the monsters contorting the way they do, all Blood Starved Beast (Bloodborne) looking, the audio design, lighting. Loved everything, except the ending. It diluted the whole experience for me.

2) Just a Peep: Loved loved this one. You basically do tasks, walking around pressing E. But the pacing and the art style akin to a black and white Hylics is absolutely wonderful.

3) Intermission: There's some actual gameplay elements in this one. This is pretty fun. Ended up clicking "ATTACH" for 5 tries. 11/10.

4) I Think I Hit Something: Very nice mish mash of various perspectives. There's a tiny bit of a disparity between artstyles but it's okay. It gets over way too quickly.

5) Don't Look Up: Press W. Game over. Nifty core idea hindered by its overly simplistic nature. And the voice line audio is much quieter than the voice lines in the rest of the game.

6) REPEAT. REPEAT. Compulsion: Did not finish this. Keys would not register, and due to the resolution scaling of menu elements, most text would be out of the screen.

7) Sheep's Gun: The game we all brought this game for, and it is easily the best of the bunch, Very good. Very. Very Good.

But due to constant stutters, and the basic overall feeling of "meh" I wouldn't recommend it in its current state. But I will be keeping an eye on this game for future updates, QoLs; and will be keeping an eye on the dev. The person is meant for great things in the horrorscape.

Game's good.
Now I need to step on the white stripes whenever I have to cross the road or I will die a little bit internally.

Daftpunk 2077
Wake up Samurai! We got 60$ to burn.

1070 GTX 8gb DDR5, i7-8750H, 16gb DDR4 ====> High @ 50-60FPS. Discussions are open in the comment section.

The game, to me, personally is OK. A 75% if you will. I hastily put up a review, hailing the immersion, and was proved wrong after playing through the game fully. There is a PLETHORA of bugs in the game, which make it unplayable but the issue is quickly resolved with a mere checkpoint load. Idgaf about bugs because it provides a "in the moment" kind of jarring disparity, but it doesn't affect the story or the scale they have served on the plate, for me personally.

My main issue with the game is how it plays. It's either too easy, or too difficult (I played on Very Hard and it was the latter for me). The AI with massive hitscan damage is just bad. Stationary AI was fine in the Witcher series because of the hand-to-hand combat, but in this game they are not quite stationary, but they still just come at me when i toss a grenade at their feet. The same kind of AI doesn't translate very well into the FPS landscape. The lack of feedback is also very very annoying, so when you get hit, you get take damage and there's directional indicators, but you don't feel it, which just takes it away.

The driving and the melee combat is downright egregious. It's bad my dudes, real bad.
And before you tell me to git gud: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=NKNlvSh_LxU. I am good. And I know the system.

Hacking stops real time events, and just let's me focus on the hacking part (which is really easy). Deus Ex Human Revolution had an infinitely better hacking system than it does in this game. They could have made a mini series of games with a different hacking puzzle for a combination of each server/node/database module in each system. That would have made it more engaging, and actually caused the need to clear the room.

The only commendable part of this game is, the side quests and main quests have meaning and purpose to flesh out the characters, unlike the pedigree of fetch quests we all have come to know and HATE (while there are some fetch quests, they let you keep the COOL ♥♥♥♥ you fetch, except for some bucket-ass-looking-cars).

It's not for everyone, but it is an acquired taste once you get into it. Wait for a sale, wait for updates and wait for DLCs.

PAINT THE PLANET RED

This game is a doozy, a bloodbath, and above all else, a classic FPS contemporized.

Looks stylish, the weapons are punchy, the music f-uckin-g slaps. I'm glad I backed this project up. And the level design is some of the most devious and yet amazing stuff (thanks Mike, Jason and Dragonfly).

There is some amount of jank (limbless projectile toss) and the carnage sometimes obscures the enemy/projectile line up, but it's nothing a little extra spray for good measure won't solve.
And I cannot for the love of god, figure out the scoring system. I get all kills, no deaths and a good time and still lose to DraQu lol (at the Forge) . [EDIT] Am big dummy. Time, secrets, kills, deaths and the number of items you collect seem to increase the score drastically.

No news of multiplayer but there are rumors. There's a level editor making the game infinite.

It's a good game. A damn good game. Get it.

[EDIT] Gripes:
1) There is no option to change Brightness/Gamma.

2) I wish I could delete my save slots.

3) The options menu is very cluttered. It could use an overhaul.

4) The checkpoint system breaks the game because it retains the enemy states upon death.

5) I am very pleased with the gore system, but when fighting a let's say, a Void Reaper (which is this game's version of a Pain Elemental) the constant barrage of Lost Souls and explosion into gore obscures vision. It turns some people off, but the simple solution is to keep shooting till you hear bullets hit metal.

Played this game on violence.
It kicked my ass.
And I loved it.
It's fast, furious and punchy. Literally.

New Blood knows it's demographic and doesn't give a flying flock about the reviewers. I'm so proud of Hakita since this game was on itch and since New Blood decided to publish it over GManLives' comment section.
