super cute battle royale that doesn't make me wanna put a hole through my monitor, 8/10

It was great with online play, as the full package I paid for. Now the servers are down and just like me, unlikely to return.

it's ok

Yes, Steam claims I've played only around 10 hours but I played well from Alpha stage into release on the normal launcher.

PROS:
-Multiple skill trees, customizable classes. (even if some aren't "viable")
-Generally good playerbase and very fun in a guild/with a group
-Open world, open ocean, fun to explore.
-Planting, building, crafting, and trading are all decent fun, as is SPORT FISHING!

CONS:
-Cash shop and pay to win concerning armor, weapons, etc.
-Hackers, bots.
-Grind, grind, grind--never ending grind.
-PvP is really NOT FUN AT ALL when you're against the pay to win players who are decked out in good armor and weapons and will camp you, steal from you, etc.

OVERALL:
I truly, completely loved this game for what it was until the hackers killed any chance of farming and crafting, people began paying to win in PvP and arenas, and the playerbase ran for the hills. The game was fun, exciting, and unique. Trion killed it by milking the game for $$$, not worrying at all about the lack of land and server space, and ignoring what we have all been screaming this entire time: BRING BACK THE OLD ARCHEAGE! You know, the Alpha one? Make it pay to play, or just remove that all together. Get rid of land grabbers, notorious ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥, and the lack of variety for free to players.

Just give me my game back. :(
