Wishing I was fishing

Glad to see Sony backed down. May this lead to less unnecessary account linking and data mining in the future.

Risk of Rain Returns breathes new life into Risk of Rain (2013.) From new content (original and from Risk of Rain 2,) to improved controls, multiplayer integration and visual polish, this game really shines. I highly recommend it for fans of the series and even as a general entry point.

If you're somehow still not spoiled on this, try your hardest to keep it that way as you play. Fantastic characters, setting, and plot.

everything is cookies now

This game is absolutely gorgeous. It drips style and Shibuya has been lovingly recreated. While the Ghostwire: Tokyo's strong suit is definitely setting, don't go in expecting horror per say. The encounters are more supernatural, creepy, and dazzling, though there are certainly a few terrifying moments.

Much of the criticism has focused on the combat and collectibles, and while it's true the combat isn't particularly complicated and the collectibles are numerous, in my view that doesn't detract from the main selling point of the game: a supernatural urban sandbox that's relaxing and fun to explore and exorcise.

If you're at all one to 100% games, I wholeheartedly recommend this game. If not, the main campaign alone is still a neat romp.

Well designed, addictive, and challenging! Shotgun King is a chess based roguelike with a premise that practically sells itself. It's firmly in the "easy to learn, hard to master" camp, and has plenty of achievements to keep you busy after your initial victory. Definitely worth the price!

neat universe, cute characters, fascinating mechanics, highly recommend

ATOMEGA is an FPS unlike any other I've ever seen. And it pulls its twist off with particularly strong mechanical design. You can tell a lot of thought was put into how the game plays at each stage of evolution, or "Exoform." From the tension of evading the sights of larger players, to the thrill of ambushing smaller players, each Exoform has unique joys alongside the changing power, size, and speed. The power ups and five count map pool also provide a decent variety in the play experience.

Naturally, you may be worried about the small player base. I was as well, but found a strong base of regular players. While empty lobbies do happen from time to time, more often than not you'll find a server with 2-4 people already on, particularly during peak times. I recommend anyone with an interest give this game a try, you may find yourself becoming one of those regulars.
