I LOOOVE the cute little beaver guys

Used to be really good and fun until there was an update that fisted my games performance. Takes 30 seconds to load in, game freezes and crashes constantly. Completely unplayable as it is right now, for me at least.

respawn neglects this game in order to put more microtransactions into it

When I first played this game on my dad's xbox 360, I always just thought it would be a funny little game that you can just mess around in and have a good time. I figured it would be easy to pick up and play and shoot whoever I want and steal whatever I can but this game is so so so much more. Years later, I decided to pick up the ultimate edition on steam while it was on sale and with the added wisdom of the years in between, the intricacies of this game blew me away and still surprise me to this day. Every single aspect of this game intrigues the player and prompts them to think of things in a different angle. Every encounter has the easy way and the much more intricate way. Unrestricted freedom in who you kill, who you side with, what order you do quests in or whether you do the main quests at all is what make Fallout: New Vegas a timeless masterpiece. It truly allows the player to insert themselves into the game world and portray things the way they want to. Want to be a brain dead hulking monster who excels in bashing in the skulls of his enemies with clubs and machetes? Go for it. Want to be a stealthy sniper who prefers taking people out from afar? You can. Want to be a smooth talking gambler who talks his way out of situations rather than fighting? Can do. Overall, this game is a masterpiece and I cannot recommend it enough

While a solid game on its own, Below Zero doesn't capture anything the original Subnautica did. Between the shock of having a voiced, wise-cracking protagonist and the frustrating exploration I often find myself wanting to go back to the original Subnautica. The exploration in this game is often more frustrating than mystical due to the fact that almost every sea cave ends in a dead end and finding specific resources is again more frustrating than fun. Along with the omission of an alternative to the cyclops, I feel like this game cut more than it built on. With the seatruck being a replacement for both the cyclops and the seamoth I wish that there were a replacement for the cyclops in the terms of a mobile base of operations per se. As well as strangely frustrating things like finding my way throughout the map and exploring, it makes it very hard to get engaged and excited to go find new materials and go explore further. At the end of the day, the original Subnautica will always be my go to game of this genre.

Gearbox's ♥♥♥♥♥♥ management of this game singlehandedly killed all hype and desire I had to play it. Even after their piss poor patch that was released over a month ago at this point the game still has plenty of physics issues along with the new items being downright horrible from a game design perspective. Do not buy this game until gearbox gets their ♥♥♥♥ together

This game made me understand the definition of stockholm syndrome
