I have never before played a game that gives the particular feeling of going through a gunfight and winning it, ending with you breathing out the words "♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥."

Highly recommended, an gem with a few nicks and scrapes.

The game is a bit weak in regard towards gameplay, with combat being terrifying in the sense that if you die, your sent back to a save point an hour back, becoming especially infuriating when you would find a save point not too far off, something that was quite common later in the game. This is made up for by the combat still being simple, with only a few enemies damaging you faster than you could find out their attack patterns. The other benefits to the oppressive atmosphere is the sound design for monsters, giving a fair share of anxiety both from their first encounter and every run in with them. The music help support this notion, with synthesised melodies supporting a near alien atmosphere.

I would love it if more people would give the game a chance. Even with the difficulty being far more ramped up then other metroidvania's, there's a near beautiful alien experience waiting.

An MMO with some good story elements, mixed with a combat system that some might hate.
