The first mission is the only one I honestly liked it had a unique premise of blowing up a bridge but the 2 other missions are really bland and have a boring gimmick where you need to do a lot of fetching to make thermite. Get it on sale I guess.

A great turn based strategy with your standard xcom style cover mechanics, deep lore and story elements, and interesting RPG character stats and progression. I'd personally recommend the game on sale if you like these sorts of things.

There's a few things that hold the game back, most noticeably the graphics are a bit dated even on high settings. There is a lot of jank with the combat such as how line of sight interacts with the environment, objects that clearly can be shot over or seen through blocking line of sight. Enemies can sometimes shoot you from lower or higher positions but your characters can't shoot back unless you're on the same level. There is only a limited amount of voiced dialogue in the game so you'll be reading for a lot (Totally fine if you're used to reading warhammer books)

Overall I'd say they did a fantastic job with the game despite my nitpicks.

The game is pretty good but it needs time to cook, very very bad performance despite none of my hardware hardly even pushing 30% of their usage to run the game. Promising game to look forward to if the devs continue to work on it.

A really charming stardew valley type game. If you enjoyed culinary stuff in Stardew you'd really like this.
The spritework and detail in this game is incredibly well done and the world feels really alive despite the characters not being quite as complex. Really the only negative thing I have to say is it's still in early access and parts of the game still feel unfinished or unpolished even after 4 years of being released. Definitely well worth the price on sale.

Great game, of all the rough launches of AAA games this is more of "Gravel Road" rough. Only two issues I've run into, one being major FPS drops when a certain enemy releases green vines and multiplayer having bad connectivity issues. One of my friends couldn't join my game and would get stuck in the loading screens multiple times.

One think that needs to be addressed is Epic Online Services is automatically installed in order to allow crossplay between EGS and Steam. This can be uninstalled in your Program Files > Epic Games > Epic Online Services folder. The game will give you a notification that you don't have it installed but will allow you to play normally from there on out. While the argument of why not have an option to disable that aswell is a valid one, do not believe in the false rumors that it's required.

The gameplay is incredibly unique and way more unforgiving then the first game. The entire gameplay loop boils down to if you are good at parrying attacks and dodging or not. Parrying isn't just press button when blue indicator circle shows up, you need to actually pay attention to attacks around you because 90% of attacks will not be indicated. It's a high skill ceiling game where if you actually take the time to learn and practice it you can flourish and dominate in Co-op and PvP.

Progression is where some of the problems with this game start to emerge, despite their best efforts the progression feels unsatisfying and grindy. Upgrading weapons and purchasing cosmetics share the same currency so it's tough to make the choice between looking good and having good weapons, especially if you're a warhammer nerd who cares about the lore of the chapters you can play as. Weapons require 3 different armor datas of Green, Purple, and Orange color. Greens only show up in the first 2 difficulties in Co-op, purples show up in 3 and orange shows up in 4. Each difficulty has a level requirement/recommendation that scales by 5 per difficulty. Your weapons progress much faster then your classes so by the time you need a certain data of a specific color your class is still gonna be a few levels behind what you need to be for the difficulty you need to play. It can feel like a slough to grind through and easy to get burned out on. But hey, at least the gameplay is fun enough to make up for most of this nitpicking.

It's Viscera Cleanup but with a story. The gore is very underwhelming for what I was expecting but its still enjoyable.
There is talk amonst people saying the VA's are AI, they are not. President Studios uses a lot of the same voice actors, they're not amazing but I recognize most of them from different titles of theirs.

The ghost recon series is the only decent ubisoft franchise left.

Half-Life and Project Zomboid have made one hell of a mutant child with this game.

You are basically a scientist in Half Life 1. Survive, build a cool base out of office supplies, escape to the surface to be shot at by the offbrand Half Life HECU- "The Order"
The alien race you fight is literally just Race X from Half-Life: Opposing Force and are even called "X'ers" or "Exors"

My only issue with the game is that there really should be client-side loot pools. Playing with multiple people can be chaotic with materials and keeping everyone fed.

Too grindy and too difficult.
The dreadnaught in this game is cancer and shouldn't be the first mission you do.
