Good to get for the crowns.

I really really do not like this game outside of the shooting ranges and sandbox maps. Trying to play this game like a pve shooter is just infuriating to me. Trying to shoot spastic sausages that float at you with mach 10 speed is enough to give me a brain aneurysm.

One of the most irritating and janky combat systems ever.

For those stuck between this game and Mordhau I will provide a quick summary;

If you prefer 1v1 duels and a more competitive environment I would recommend Mordhau. Time to kill enemies takes less hits then it does in Chivalry. Mordhau has less variety in gamemodes outside of Capture Points, FFA, and PvE Horde mode but it makes up for in modded servers.

If you prefer large scale battles and a more casual/easier gameplay experience then this game is it. You will get a lot team-based objectives in this game where as mordhau it's usually just control points. Dogpiling and 2+v1s are 90% of the game so don't expect 1v1's too often outside of FFA.

I should also say both games have incredibly toxic communities. Don't expect any help from either or you'll just be called a slur in chat

One major problem with the game at the moment is hitreg, more so arrows and throwables. Countless times I've hit an enemy and the thing I threw at them is literally stick out of their body but it didn't do any damage.

You know you got a great co-op game when 90% of the content is locked behind DLC and if you are new to the game every lobby will insta-kick you. Very poor networking by devs as nearly every single game ends in a host timeout or disconnection. Great experience. I regret buying this game.

Capes

Never understood the hype for this game.
Story is really basic and the writing is unbearably cringey.
Gameplay is just really ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ bland and not fun.
The characters are completely forgettable and not remotely interesting.
The facial animations are worse then Mass Effect Andromeda, and I 100%'d that game so I have the pass to say that lmao.
The PC port in general is a buggy mess.
I can't play this for more then an hour without wanting to alt+f4 and play literally anything else.
I had more fun playing Assassin's Creed Odyssey then this.

10/10 Models and voices are amazing

0/10 Officer doesn't get a cool ottoman saber sword :(

Personally I think the australian voice lines are 10x better and higher quality. The american voice lines can be a bit quieter aswell. I guess if you really want the springfield and the fancy coat go for it. Support the devs for all the free updates they give us.

Bungie straight up moved the best story campaign in the game. New players will never get to experience it... Why......
