Excellent game:

- Can destroy just about everything
- Vehicles that all have a different feel to them and make all the difference in missions
- Creative puzzle solving
- Nice variety of maps + Art Vandals (free expansion) included + Season Pass now available for more campaigns
- Support for community mods, maps, campaigns

Highly recommended. Awesome game.

PREY is more like a spiritual successor to the System Shock or Bioshock series of games. It has very little to do with the original Prey FPS created by ID. All this works out just fine.

PREY has a nice blend of FPS/RPG elements with a great sci-fi story with some horror thrown in. The combat also feels more like tactical elimination and avoidance of enemies instead of just running around and shooting everything.

My only real complaint with this game is the typical Arkane buggy experience. Install the game on your main drive, which is hopefully an SSD to avoid the random freeze-stutter issues. Also be prepared to validate the game files after playing a number of hours on occasion.

Pick this game up along with the Mooncrash expansion, which explores the universe and story a bit more but as something akin to playing a rogue-like. You won't regret it.

If you enjoy being underwater and all it's beauty, then you should play Subnautica. Awesome ocean landscapes and depths await. If you like well-crafted games, then you should play it too.

Exploring the planet and building structures is quite fun and I was pleased to find that the survival aspects of the game are reasonable and not cumbersome or annoying, so playing the game in normal mode with these features is recommended. The game has a particular charm the way it tells it's story through audio logs, scanned information, what happens to you when exploring, what you find and other events.

This was my favourite game this year. The quality and presentation of the game is amazing and you would think the game was made by a larger studio on a bigger budget. Can't wait to see what the devs make next (or maybe an expansion to Subnautica?). I highly recommend getting this game, even full price is a steal for the quality and fun.

If you like Vampire the Masquerade: Bloodlines and are interested in something cyberpunk with great plot, this is the game to get. Sure, the graphics are dated (they were when it came out too), but there's some branching decisions and the game lets you play whatever way you want to. One of the pillars for FPS/RPG hybrids. A lot of the others just aren't as well done. You'll get over the graphics and love this game anyways.
