Absolutely adorable. My stream loved it! The art and animation are adorable and the concept is cute. 10/10 I will absolutely be looking for more from this studio in the future!

The game can get a bit repetitive, especially early where you don't have a ton of options unlocked. Definitely something to pick up though, if for no other reason than the interesting mechanics involved in the "Sauron's Army" aspect. And not just the domination either. You can carefully guide and enable your chosen orc like nourishing a beloved tree until he's ripe for the harvest and you kill him for a bunch of points. And honestly, the GoTY edition is so inexpensive now that it's not a terrible dip to pick it up. The Beastmaster DLC is pretty fun too, and you get some neat abilities from it.

Overall 8.5 out of 10. Nice solid mechanics and gameplay, but the pacing suffers at times.

Oh my goodness. So much to say. Well drawn characters, great scenery, and hack and slash gameplay that never got booring. What's not to love about this? Should I also mention the *Allstar* cast they have? They pulled in something like half the cast from Skullgirls and many talents from the Abridged Series community. Anyone who's been keeping up with the indie game industry or been watching abridged series will recognize voices. If that wasn't enough, the dialogue is funny and engaging. There's also special cameo characters from several different games which I won't say any more on. The music and ambient sounds really bring everything to life and make it feel like you're really immeresed in the game.

What can I say that Yatzhee didn't already say in his review? Bastion is a top-down game that draws you into the story, making you care about the characters and the plot. Another great part is the way the story is told. The narrator has a deep baratone with a sligth drawl that is disturbingly relaxing and endearing, even when it is describing things like you being knocked off an edge. The game play is fairly intuitive, and the weapon upgrade system gives you a reason to practice with the weapons. The music was absolutely fantastic! The melodies are haunting and yet beautiful at the same time. Definitely wantto buy the soundtrack.

Now for the bad. My main gripe is that , no matter which choices you make, there seems to be no noticable repercussions, despite a clear attempt at a morality-type system. Also, some of the mechanics, such as the shield-reflect maneuver, seemed a bit ungainly and finicky.

Overall not bad, definitely worth playing through. 8.5/10

From the cute main character, to the inventive puzzles that truly challenge the brain, Machinarium is one of those games that you just can't put down. I say this very seldom for games, but I was more eager to continue playing than I was to go eat or take a bathroom break. This game truly tests your limits, and will challenge your preconceptions of how good you are all around at gaming. The environments are well drawn and the the animation is seamless. Well worth the money I paid for it. 8.5/10

This game is very fun. Imagine a version of Asteroids that could be played to your own music. Graphics are mind-blowing. Literally. Sometimes there is so much on the screen you lose track of your ship. It's fun though, and a good way to eat up time. The sale price I got it for was less than $5, and I definitely got my money's worth out of it. My only major gripe is that the online play was kinda half-assed. 8/10

This an excellent game, especially for the price. The artwork is amazing, and it never fails to impress. The puzzles are clever and require you to stop limiting yourself to the way you think the world works. An excellent game, and I would recommend it for anyone.

Absolutely got my money's worth out of it. The minions are so funny, sort of like the grunts from halo. The scenery is absolutely beautiful. The level design is quite inventive at times. You can stealth your way through entire levels without anyone being the wiser, or you can run in and kill everything.The hidden items aren't as rediculous as some games we've all played, such as LoZ, and we put up with that. There are quick time events, exclusively in the boss fights, but they aren't that hard, and they aren't "press space bar to not die" like in GoW or Wet.
