and I though Death Stranding was a running simulator.

this game is by definition a scam. Hopefully microsoft will revive it.

Let me start by saying that this game is very fun to play in a casual setting. It's pretty balanced, and there's a playstyle for everyone.

That being said, this game right now is not playable in a competitive setting. The 3 things that kill it for me are;

1: The controller aim assist is just pure auto aim. (Crossplay can be turned off so only mildly annoying)

2: Voice chat is disabled by default. And no one uses it *when it works.*

3: there is **NO** text chat. The closest thing we have is a limited ping system. So you're stuck using VC *if* your team decided to turn it on. This means, we cannot communicate strategy or warnings after death in any shape way or form. This is by far the most frustrating thing in a competitive setting. I find my team usually aimlessly scattered around the place while trying to stratigize while all you can basically communicate to them is "going here" "attacking this" and "thanks!" Leaving only frustration and thoughts on how it could be with a text chat.
