Don't use a website to look up mixes .. it take the fun out of it. Play around with things, and discover new things by yourself <3

It's a great game to keep coming back to. I only have 310 hours in it, yet I still have quite fun. The DLCs ( Except Isle of Siptah ) does not add anything "OP" weapons or such to the game, it's cosmetics and more. Sure, some of the weapons can be a bit overly strong in the early game, but that evens out quite quickly.

Personally I like playing with some kind of "higher level" mods that increases max level ( this or add more points to learn more ) as I usually play solo or with my wife only, and by that need more to learn it all :), but with some friends, playing totally vanilla is great!

It has come a long way since release. Devs are continuing giving out free updates/expansions that other devs normally would packed into a paid DLC.

The storyline is great, the exploration is awesome, and still I am discovering new systems that never have been visited by others. U can spend 10 days just making your base .. or 10 days roaming around .. or visit other players ... it's all up to you.

And the expeditions they are adding is just a great way to earn ingame ships, pets and tools.

Would I recommend new players to get it? Heck yes! A true resounding yes..

Only 47 hours in ... having a blast. They done an amazing job on this game. Stunning gfx, some small hiccups with stuttering ( due to me having an old 1070TI card ) but all in all better than most "AAA" games out there. I know some say that the voice acting is sounding like someone just reads from a script with nothing added, but I can't say I get the feeling.. more or less everyone is on par with their voicelines.
I would say, don't just do the mainquest .. do all the sidequests, explore all you can, and you will have tons of things to do. I'm counting on atleast 50 hours more ... and then go on the hardest difficulty and start over :)

After 80+ hours playtime, I can say a little bit about the game.
Remember, this is Early access as of writing. SCUM seem to be the evolved child after games like DayZ, ARK and others. The puppets (zombies) are per say easy to kill, but do swarm. There are suicide bombers in between them that will kill you instantly and also blow up your ♥♥♥♥.
There are basebuilding, allthough it's not that advanced. Pre-made buildings you can make, walls, watchtowers and some storage and decorations. But it's getting along.
There are houses that can be looted, like in DayZ, but I thing this is a better way, as you need to search the drawers, fridges, micros and more. I rather go searching through things rather than it's just laying on the ground.
There is military installments that is great for looting, but it's hard, so be geared. Airfields, farms, towns .. all great places to loot from.
You have hunting and fishing in place also.
You can find cars, motorcycles, tractors, ATVs around on different places, and you might need to fill them with fuel ( from wither gas stations or jerrycans ), repair them with a vehicle repair kit or recharge with another car battery .. or maybe all of the above to make it run. Nice thing is that if it has enough charge to start, you can drive to recharge the battery. It WILL drain if you leave the vehicle with lights on or something.
You can lock everything, but you need to craft the lock.
Metabolism is in place. Devs are working hard on this ( and the rest off course ) and are very active ). You need to follow up on getting your vitamins, needed to releave yourself when needed

BUT .. it's very grindy, be prepared. Basebuilding take a long time, specially if you go solo.

Do I recommend the game? Hell yeah. If you are into this kinda game, there should be no hesitation. Considering it's just in early access, the devs have made so much available already, and it's lots to come...

Set aside a few small issues ( like getting stuck on the stair to the seatruck in moonpool, or getting outside through the hatch ) the overall feeling of the game is just great.
Alot of people whine about to much being handheld through the game, but frankly, you get messages when you within a certain distance of things, and/or it's beacon'd when there is a continuation of the main storyline ( only some parts of it )

If you liked the first one, you will like this one.

I've only played 60 hours so far, but I reckon there will be lots more, as I'm now just chilling, building and exploring places and things I didn't do to much in the first playthrough.
Expect a 20-30 hours playtime your first run, if you follow the story and not deviate to much from it, else ... well... unknown playtime :D

They have done a great job with the atmosphere in the game, allthough certain things are way to overpowered ( like the defense module for the Seatruck ).

Anything I'm not happy with?
Not really. I love underwater games, I love exploring, I'm bad at building... but this game has it all.

Would I recommend the game to buy?
Heck yeah, no doubt.

What can I say ... It has it all... crazy characters, lunatic moron kids ... Heists, cool cars, flyers ... and ofc spaceships!

This has to be one of the very few games one come back to, over and over and over, and still find new un-explored areas.

Oh, also, this game has a special love for chicken. Do NOT kill a chicken!!

SO far, I like this one very much. Back to the roots from what Call of Duty once came from. Fast paced ..
If you are looking for a fast paced Arcade Shooter, this is a great game. Graphics are great.... setting up a few pointers:

Pros:
Fast paced like CoD games should be.
Seem to be pretty accurate aim system.
Maps looks great
You need to work for your upgrades.
Can choose what extra perks one want with upgrade tokens that you recieve with leveling.

Cons:
P2P system. Why, just why can't they ever learn that PC players don't like to rely on whomever is hosting will have the advantage. Please give us back dedicated server, rentable servers. I for one are ready to order....


Alot of people that give it bad reviews, are not reviewing the game for what it is, but more "this is another CoD", "Not realism ( go play ARMA THEN )", "CoD must die" .. sorry folks, but that is something that does not got anything with the game one are suppose to review.. review the game mechanics, weapons, maps, how it feels to play and so on .. not that it's not BF, that it looks like other CoDs ( it will it IS a CoD )..

I give it a thumbs up due to how it felt playing it, how the maps look and so on. I have skippedd a few CoD as I didn't like them, I've skipped others as I didn't like them, I purchased BF 3 and 4, I liked 3 more than 4. I hated Hardline .. imo that was not a BF .. but I said so .. there... and did not use that other places.. so,
CoD WW2 is a game that I recommend for the reasons mentioned above, not for other games made.

One thing I really hope they do fix this time, is a better security system, to catch hackers and cheaters.
Give us theatr mode back or a way to see the match so we can determind if a player is good or is actually using some cheats.
Give us Dedicated servers ( not like they said before, that they have their "own" dedi servers, that uses P2P?!?! )
