Not recommended as of now, just finished story mode and checked around the krpyt a bit and have seen plenty of posts as of now.

While the gameplay is very solid and the story is amazingly fun (even though i felt the ending was a bit anti-climatic) the game has a HIDEOUS microtransaction system.

The devs already knew the reaction people would have as they waited until the very last moment for us to realize how bad the krypt and towers of time system is, esentially they made a terrible design so they would "fix" it and make it bad but not terrible and think the community would suck it up and that'd be the end of it. (Spoilers: It won't be.)

Everything in the krypt is completely random and the konsumables' system is AWFUL, they make the towers of time stupidly difficult, at some points without the use of konsumables the challenge can be borderline impossible.

The game is not an excellent port many parts and cinematics of the game are locked at 30 fps which is off putting to say the least when you're playing.

I'll edit this post to add any other negatives i find since sadly the positives of this game do not outweight the negatives and i'm considering applying for a refund. (At the very least refund my kombat pack.)
