Rockstar Games, the "small indie company" that somehow failed to deliver a proper next-gen version of GTA 5. But why?

RTX – The game doesn’t suddenly look next-gen, but your FPS drops like a rock. Yes, reflections are nice, but is that worth turning your PC into a space heater?
DLSS, FSR – DLSS gives you a glorious +5 FPS (if the stars align), while FSR transforms the game into a blurry, Vaseline-covered mess. And does FPS improve? Not really.
System requirements skyrocketed, but what actually changed? Did they replace skyscraper windows with highly advanced 8K PNG images? I don't think so. And let’s not even mention Cayo Perico – 30-40 FPS on a 3090 + i5 12400F. What a next-gen experience!
They're milking GTA 5 dry, but why? Instead of rushing this half-baked upgrade, they could’ve taken their time and made something actually worthwhile.
The "amazing" new features:
New cars! A hangar! Hao’s special workshop! Wow, Rockstar, you really went all out! And let’s not forget the most important feature of all – a slightly updated menu! 🎉

Oh, and don’t forget that this groundbreaking upgrade wasn’t even free. Because why would Rockstar ever give you something without draining your wallet first?

By the way, I’m writing this review on this account, but on another one, I’ve already played 40+ hours. So yeah, I’ve suffered through it enough to form an educated opinion.
