Great braindead game

One of the best "sim" games ever, GOTY!

I 100%ed the game on PS5 already, it was honestly my game of the year last year(yes, better than WuKong) and it didn't receive the respect it deserved because of all the negative stigma of being a "gooner game" perpetrated by mainstream journalists, I'm glad that so many people are liking it on PC because it's genuinely a great action souls-like(one of the best) with great perfect parry/dodges, tight gameplay and mechanics in general. Amazing graphics, music and sound design. Tons of outfits and even more content with the all the DLC's. Game is also amazingly optimized even tho it has denuvo and the devs allow and are all for mods, frequently sharing mods that they like themselves on twitter(x). I would recommend it to anyone!

I really like the game but i cannot recommend it right now for one reason: I know that the game is unplayable for me and many others right now, constant crashes to desktop at random times(fatal error) makes this amazing game a pain to play sadly. I spent all day looking for solutions, nothing works and no one knows how to fix it and the dev's havent even acknowledged it.
In addition to that there is also no FSR or DLSS in the settings, it's really a shame because it's an amazing game hindered by technical issues that make it unplayable.

And btw before you think and say "your PC sucks!", no i think it's pretty good and the game actually runs fine... until it crashes which happens every minute, every 10 minutes, every hour, its totally random and makes me lose progress each time it happens, can happen while exploring, while fighting, while watching a cutscene, while doing anything, even just being afk and that has me constantly worried that it's gonna happen at any moment.

IGN gave this game a 5/10 so i had to see for my self.
I was pleasantly surprised as this is one of the best souls-likes ever made, it reminded me of Bloodborne and Dark Souls 1 with some nice new systems but mostly keeping it very traditional, i enjoyed it from start to finish!

First off all lets mention that I have beaten the game and gotten HR 80(as of now) and have farmed my BiS gear for now until they release more content.
This is one of the best Monster Hunter games to date, it looks great, sounds great and the gameplay is very refined and a big improvement compared to previous titles. So much so that i think it's going to be difficult to go back after playing Wilds. The quality of life and general gameplay improvements are just insane.

Focus mode and the wounds system are a great addition to the game.
Focus mode makes it much easier to focus(no pun intended) on landing your attacks and spending less time swinging in the air while being animation locked since it lets you turn direction mid animation.

The game is much easier compared to previous titles and it has been very streamlined in general. The IGN review did not lie about this.
I didn't fail a single quest and can probably count the amount of times I "carted" on one hand but this does not make it an 8/10 because the game is actually great and is more like a 9 to a 9.5/10.
The reason it's much easier compared to previous titles is because they tried to make the game more beginner friendly to draw in a new audience that was previously to intimidated to try out the series and they succeeded in that.
They have already confirmed that harder content is coming so we know that the difficulty issue is going to be addressed in the future.

I know that a lot of people are complaining about performance issues and crashes and giving the game a negative review because of that.
Although the game could be better optimized it run's just fine on my PC and I have only had one crash in my 44 hours of gameplay so far.
I run the game at a steady 130~150 fps(depending on the area and the amount of action), 1440p, max graphics settings(with high res texture pack), FSR3 enabled(quality), frame generation enabled(doesn't bother me personally) and ray tracing disabled.

The game is actually very good, enjoyable to play.

What sucks is they give you like almost no pull currency and the prices are absurd, costs 55$ for 20 pulls wtf.
This has to be the most f2p UNFRIENDLY gacha that exists on the market and its a shame cause the foundation is great.
Make sure you reroll and get a perfect team if you are gonna play it.

Politics in video games done right!

One of the best games to play with friends or solo(as a killer), would highly recommend!
