Not great. QOL issues are abundant and it doesn't seem like the devs have any intention of fixing them. The map feels very hollow, like there was more content planned than was actually developed. QOL issues like there being no way to remove half-poured cement, nails sticking through walls when you apply plasterboard, roof shingles clipping into each other, side job supplies not respawning, etc. all add up and make the game frustrating when you feel like you have to baby it lest you do something the devs didn't plan for.

The building system is fun at times but the majority of gameplay isn't building, it's grinding money so you can buy supplies. The most efficient way to make money that I could find was applying for unemployment and skipping days one-by-one for months at a time. It's just boring, can't recommend.

solid foundation, still pretty early access though. the main story has an interesting hook but it's incomplete, as are several of the quests. You don't get a good indicator for quests that aren't possible to complete yet, so check the wiki without shame. (can't have ♥♥♥♥ in Obenseuer)

upgrades to your tenement are very satisfying and they each come with tangible rewards. the later upgrades are obscenely expensive even at the easiest settings though, so grinding money and resources for them becomes a slog.

definitely worth the current price for the amount and quality of content that's already there.

At 12 hours of playtime I have only just begun to get good. The core gameplay loop is a blast but the replay value is stunted by a lack of variety and meta progression. The moment-to-moment action is risky and satisfying but long play sessions can be repetitive due to a lack of variety in mission types.

The aesthetic of the game is intriguing and the studio clearly knows how to set the mood. The UI is simple but stylized where it counts. Sound design is done well where it counts, but there are some odd choices in other places. In menus the music is only serviceable, but the dynamic track in missions builds constant tension and effectively follows the tone of combat. Also, overdriven guitar.

This game is early access and hopefully very early in its lifetime. The skeleton of a fantastic roguelite is here but the game needs more content to be worth the current asking price. Buy it on sale or as an investment.

Crashes on launch. Spent an hour and a half troubleshooting. Classic Bethesda quality.

Yet another Arkane masterpiece. Prey is worth full price but goes on sale often, so wishlist it at the very least.
