Subtick feels like a PR twist to justify cheaping out with 64-tick servers. The recent tagging update feels like a band-aid fix to a fundamentally broken hit-reg system.

Community servers are dying. Its lack of integration and moderation makes me wish we could go back to CS:GO—when the browser looked like dog water, but there were thriving communities for KZ and surf behind it.

The competitive scene is barely keeping itself afloat, and is deeply reliant on gambling sponsors. The executives would rather watch an entire generation of kids fall victim to addiction than sponsor more than a bi-annual major tournament.

Performance keeps getting worse. I don't want to have visuals gradually neutered like what happened with TF2, but graphical optimization shouldn't be neglected like this.

Better anti-cheat? An operation? Any tangible roadmap for upcoming changes?

This game is supposed to be a fresh start for CS as a franchise, but all I see a company, making 9+ figures/year from digital cosmetics, with an unadulterated disrespect for the community that keeps it alive.

I want my dreamy Gabe Newell to step in and turn this all around, but he's not the person he was. I'll just be grateful we had simpler times.
