Looking forward to future content, but loving this game! A mix of tower defense and card game, something I never though I would like.

I cannot wait to spend over 1000 hours in this game over the years. Sure it feels like some of the amazing features from CK2 are missing, but man this is the best Paradox launch I have seen in the last 7 years. I am excited to see what the future holds for this game.

For what they have in the game, for the most part it is an improvement over CK2. The UI is pretty sweet, the tool tip system in this game is amazing and I love the layered tool tips.

Not sure what else I can say other than even if you have never played a grand strategy game with roleplay elements, this game seems far easier to get into than previous PDX titles!

I heard of this game from a random YouTube personality and boy am I not disappointed. If you are into Rogue-Likes with a ton of replayability, this should be a game you consider. It is a bit RNG heavy at times and you might die in the first tier if your don't get good roles, but that is part of the experience.

Pros:
Interesting class, weapon, spells, armor, and event design.
Fun tactical combat
Replayability.

Cons:
RNG can be very unkind sometimes.

Early Access Review
This is why I typically stay away from Early Access games. I know they are unfinished products, but the fact that the game was not even playable for most of the day and when I finally got in, it was still unplayable speaks volumes.

Maybe one day this game will be good, but that will not be anytime soon.

Steer clear unless you are a fanboy or an apologist to companies screweing people over.

I want more games like this. Very challenging detective game where you have to solve everyone's fate with not many definitive clues. If you are into legit detective game and love this art style, like I do, then this one is for you.

This game gives on a feeling of Civilization in space with a RTS setting. There are a few things they could do to make the game more interesting, such as making the AI a bit more aggressive. I am 100 years into my first campaign and the AI never bothers to attack me even though I have a ton of border friction.

Even with that, I have spent all this time so far learning the game it is is much easier to learn than some of Paradox other titles. So if you are looking to get into some more complex strategy games, this might be the game to wet your feet with!

The game and the entire Witcher universe is just really good. I would recommend not only you play this game, but also reading the books as well.

I cannot wait to see what CDPR does next!

With the addition of Reaper's Due, I felt it was finally type up a quick recommendation of this game.

If you enjoy RPGs and are into RTS, then this is likely a game right up your alley. The game has a high learning curve, like almost all Paradox Grand Strategy games, but once you get the hang of it, you might end up spending over 600 hours in this game.

How many games let your childless king get his balls chopped off to cure the Plague? I cannot think of any other.

Check it out now!

I kind of like this game, but until they make it so the survivors cannot infinitely cheese by jumping through the same window over and over and over and over and over and over and over again so you can never catch them, then I cannot recommend it.

The best matches are those where people do not cheese and just run like it is a horror game. Good team will get most everyone out, but almost every match I am in, it is just people want to exploit poor game mechanics just so they can win and it makes the whone thing boring.

Once they add a way to make it so people cannot infinitely slide over pallets (lesser issue) or people can go through same window forever (huge issue), then I cannot recommend this game.

Hopefully they add a way to shut windows or have like cooldown time on how often you can jump through a certain window.

Been meaning to get around to this game since I beat The Witcher. Seemed much shorter, but that is fine with me! My only real complaint is the game does not come with a New Game Plus mode. I would love to play through the game again with my progress and items just to experience some different outcomes.

Overall, the game was very good. The story was a bit confusing at times, but mostly tied itself up at the end and leaving the story open to the next installment The Witcher 3. The combat was defnitely a step up from The Witcher, but still felt like it could use some improvement.

The voice acting in the game was a HUGE improvement, glad the only real monotone character is now Geralt, which suits him.

There is more I could say, but I am not one for really in depth reviews. If you are looking for a story rich Western RPG, then this is likely a game you would enjoy. Plus it never hurts to experience the story from start to finish. Onto The Witcher 3!
