Picked this up for me and my girl with no prior knowledge of this game even existing.

World 1: missed the very first island we encountered so we got upset and restarted

World 2: got to the first island we ecountered and jumped to it, only for us to be unable to build another raft

World 3: collected a ♥♥♥♥ ton of stuff, built up our raft, started farming/fishing, killed a boar and a shark, explored several islands and more. Can say we will be continuing our play through.

64+ hours of playing guitar and I still suck.

Jokes aside, as someone who'd never even picked up a guitar prior to playing this game (no lessons) this game did a good job at teaching me one thing. How to play songs on this game. I really enjoy playing this game but I feel like I haven't learned how to play guitar, just how to play individual songs listed on the game. While that's not a bad thing, it's also not a good thing for someone looking to learn guitar. The game does have it's own little lessons you can follow along with but it's much easier to hop into a song and let the game progress in difficulty for you. A little bit of riff repeater practice and you'll be mastering songs in no time with the right technique.
