If you're a keyboard player, don't buy this game.
Lack of keyboard configuration is enough for me to tell y'all to hold off on this game until they fix it.

EDIT 1: The Database doesn't help you find Nexomon habitats either! For a mons game this is basic functionality that needs to be included.

EDIT 2: Swapping the cores of two party members is sorely needed. Re-equipping 4 cores is very tedious. Pokemon has only one hold item and it has swap items.

It's a shame since this is a super fun Mons genre game with interesting mechanics and fairly edgy plot peppered with fun comedic relief.

EDIT 3: It's an even greater shame since this game has near-infinite replayablility thanks to built-in randomizer AND nuzlocke features and difficulty settings! Why doesn't Pokemon have this? This is amazing! But I'm holding fast. Thumbs down will stay until keyboard issue is fixed.

A very good demo for Streets of Rage 2!

Y'all essentially get one character, one stage to try out, but with the Yakuza series coat of paint.

If y'all like this game, please buy Streets of Rage 2, which is just this, but with 4 characters* and 8 stages, plus bangin' music!

*Kamurocho has 3 characters but they all play like Axel in the base Streets of Rage 2 game.

It's like Legend of Zelda, except remove the plot, and retain puzzles.

There are 4 ways to beat the game, and there's an additional bonus dungeon of hell in case you wanna go at it.

It's a short game, but it'll do for the price point.

P.S. Not for people who are not fond of block-pushing puzzles at all.

CONS: There's an in-game display quirk where it shows the wrong/default accept and cancel prompts if you reconfigured your keys.

If you like neat art, engaging battles, everyone speaking in rhymes (this gets grating after a while though), and flying around in the air, this is the game for you. It is a bit easy on Normal difficulty, I recommend experiencing the game on Hard.

I feel sorry for you people who are turned off by the UPlay and first day DLC, you don't need the latter, and as for the former, well deal with it. You dealt with it when you played Half-Life 2 and had to install Steam, this is nothing new. If you don't want a double overlay, then go buy it on UPlay instead and you can close Steam, that's one less "DRM service" running.

However, I had some issues with lost progress in saving, I would recommend turning off cloud saving in Uplay to fix it.
