- Multiplayer matchmaking is abysmal. Quick play options REQUIRE difficulty selection.
- AI teammates cannot be commanded, nor can they aim or help with objectives.
- No in game chat, voice chat, or communication in a Multiplayer Co-op game.
- Dealing damage to enemies that are close to the camera is very difficult.
- Most character classes are unbalanced for solo play. AI teammates do not play PC classes.
- Doc class is not intuitive to play and requires teammates to understand how to recharge their main ability.
- Flamethrower weapons in non-casual difficulty modes to extraordinary damage to teammates.
- AI teammates constantly run into your line-of-sight while you are shooting enemies; causing them to take damage.
- Low latency matches with other players causes aliens to teleport. Grabbing elite enemies can instantly kill you this way.
- Elite enemies are more bullet-sponges than tactically different.
- Replay-ability and variation of missions is mostly non-existent. Character classes are the only "new" feeling for missions.
- The Technician class with the Flamethrower turret mod is very overpowered.
- Phalanx / Lancer / Gunner / Demolisher classes have about 90% the same feel and progression.
- "Giants in the Earth: Evacuate" final mission objective to collect Power Cores is confusing for all new players I've encountered. Many do not understand why infinite enemies spawn until it is completed and fail due to lack of health supplies.
- Nearly impossible to find human teammates for the "Horde Mode", "Point Defence", and "Restock Turrets" game modes as there isn't a quick play option for them. Other players MUST HAVE the same game type, difficulty selection, AND challenge card selection to be able to see or join your hosted match.
- Most automatic fire weapons (even with high damage mods) do less DPS then single fire weapons with faster rate-of-fire mods.
- Randomly purchasing three challenge cards is a horrible way to dole out different game styles especially for players that have maxed out everything in the game. For instance, the challenge card "Bad Feeling About This Op" is extremely rare compared to other comparable cards with the same rewards that provide less game play change.
- Alien enemies get stuck inside walls, or fail to path to marines. Resulting in all three players waiting for the game to "time-out" the alien and kill them. AI pathing is pathetic for a horde-style game.

Pros:
Looks great
Feels great
Has a nice progression system

Cons:
Dumb AI
Low player count
Boring objectives
Lacks content

Gameplay lacks content. Saw two other players in first match, then nobody else for the next two. Game feels great, looks great, and has a clear objective. However, the main objective is quite dull; three check points and a boss with a slim possibility for PVP combat. Furthermore, AIs seem to be a bit lacking as they do not notice you unless they can directly see you. They are very easy to kill and do not pose much challenge; with the exception for the hell dogs. Bosses are very aggresive, but can't traverse complex navigation and are easy to kite.

I would play this for maybe $10.00.
Bland, no story, repetitive, no character development, main character never speaks. They already made a game like this; it's called Warframe and it's free-to-play, much better and with more mechanics.

This game has it all: Mystery, murder, fighting for your life, cannibalism, custom base construction, friends-only co-op and so much more metal content.

In my first go, I played 10 hours straight and survived for 17 days.
I can't get enough.

- This is one of the worst games I've ever played in my life. -

Matchmaking:
- Game matchmaking simply doesn't work if you're in a squad. Forced to enter individually into a lobby in custom games.
- Lobby teams are not balanced in any way. 5 players at level 60 or higher vs 3 players at level < 10

Gameplay:
- VERY pay to win.
- Forced to play 1 type of class until level 6.
- Hacking players sniping from the sky during match start.
- Empty half of my machine gun ammo into a elite player (confirmed hits with points). Elite player doesn't die and turns around and shoots twice with a machine gun in my left leg to kill me.

However, it is a very nice uninstall simulator.
