Hi there!

As an appreciator of network and transport games as well as railroads in general, Railroads Online ticks a lot of boxes for me. If you want to lay your own rail network, you can do that. If you want to operate steam trains, you can do that. If you want to run one-man point-to-point operations, you can do that. If you want to host a complex operating session with switching operations, yard masters and brake-men, you can absolutely do that.

The game looks good, runs decently and provides a lot of fun for those interested in virtual railroading. HOWEVER, keep in mind that this game is Early Access! The track laying system is finicky at best and frustrating at its worst. There are physics glitches and the usual bugs that come with an in-development game. And there is of course plenty of content that's been discussed, but hasn't made it to the game yet. Good news is that the devs are pretty communicative in their discord and updates have been coming reasonably frequently.

There's a bunch of fun to be had right now if you're willing to deal with the reality of early access. And the general roadmap for the game looks good so far. Heck, with my 83 hours played already, I'd say I've gotten my money's worth.

Hi, Scotland Tom. I'm very interested in modifying your Copper Creek map for use in Transport Fever 2. Is that something you would be OK with? Cheers, and thanks :) Stephen Spry

@Arkenstein X11 - Yep, you got me! Wow, has it been a while since those days. Amazingly I'm certain I still have all the images I created for my forum sigs and the worldbuilding project that we had going on over there.
