Fun premise for the game bogged down by poor gameplay, especially dying to shots that you can't even see coming on some backgrounds. Levels need to be repeated multiple times to get stars to upgrade your weapons, or you can spend 8 stars to get infinite ammo for your pistols. Boss fights are barely different from each other and provide no real challenge, making them feel both unrewarding and mostly pointless. Finally the music never really feels like it shifts out of first gear? It feels like it's building up to a climax that never comes. Try it if you'ld like, but wait for a good sale.
