A good story brings joy to the mind, and catgirls bring joy to the heart. Luckily this game has both.

This game is like a roller coaster going through your emotions, but the roller coaster is a yandere that kills off your favorite characters while begging you to love her.

You are taken to the Sierra Madre Casino, a pre-war paradise that due to unforeseen events became just the opposite of that. While in the base game, you can play pretty carelessly after acquiring some mid-end game gear, to survive in the Sierra Madre you must be cautious and use your supplies carefully as you are stripped of all your belongings upon arriving.
Toxic clouds and ghost people will be your main source of concern, seeing as those poisonous clouds are everywhere and ghost people are strong opponents for not so strong weapons. Dead Money is definitely a challenge for even the most experienced players (Even more so in hardcore mode).

The way the game forces you to switch your playstyle and takes you out of your comfort zone is one of the reasons this DLC is so controversial, but also one of the reasons that makes it special.
Throughout the gameplay, you will uncover the secrets buried with the old world, the reason why you are there, why the Sierra Madre became a poisonous ruin inhabited by the undead and how that happened is just one of the many things you will discover while exploring.
The creepy atmosphere and survival elements blend very well with the fallout universe and it really makes you feel like you are in the ruins of a post apocalyptic world.

Overall, If you like the survival aspect of the game and a good story you'll love Dead Money.
