Such a strong base, I'm totally blown away. A true love letter to the medieval times and city builders.

There are still a lot of bugs, balancing issues and missing features, but I guess this is expected in an early access state. Despite all that, the game is very enjoyable for me.

Valiant Hearts shows the horror, absurdity, but also the humanity caused by war. It brings up the inside of us, and so does this game. It has been a long time since I have been magnetized watching a cut scene and empathising with the characters. The story is great and the game is beautifully animated. Riddles are challenging but not insane and collectibles give an extra insight of the dullness of everyday life in the First World War.

It is all of this, together with the beautiful soundtrack, which makes this game outstanding and deserving a special place in my library and mind.
