If I were to put my love for this game into words, I would probably fail. So I'll keep it short:

The gameplay is amazing and original. It never gets repetitive. The setting is breathtaking in its beauty and originality. The story touches close to the heart, and this game somehow manages that with only one character who actually speaks.

Then there's the music. My God, the music.

In short: As an avid gamer, developer, and science-fiction writer, this game is absolute gold. No; it's *diamond.*

Buy it. Buy it now.

Everything about this game is amazing. The very cute yet also very appropriate pixel style, the utterly breathtaking music, the non-repetitive and creative gameplay, the innovative setting and, most importantly, the absolutely stunning and original (branching!) story.

Undertale is not merely a game. It is a symbol for everything an RPG should strive to achieve—and to achieve all of it. Every single part.

Reviewing this "game" feels disingenuous. Because it's not a game. It's a simulator (as the name might suggest). More than that, it's a way to play any tabletop game of your choosing without the hassle of preparing a desk, a game, and all the figures. Moreover, it's a way to play any tabletop game of your choosing online, with your friends, no matter the distance. Anything is possible in virtual space.

There's really no reason to dislike this "game." Actions may sometimes be a bit finicky, but the game still feels very smooth and devoid of glitches. You can even use it to design your own tabletop games! How awesome is that? Or you can just ♥♥♥♥ around with random pieces. You can build a pyramid with blocks. You can even use it to play DnD. The options are limitless.

I don't know what to tell you. I love the Fallout series. I have hundreds of hours in Fallout 3 and New Vegas. Yet this game just failed to grip me.

It's not the graphics. The graphics are amazing. Nor is it the gameplay, which is also a vast improvement compared to Fallout 3 or even New Vegas.

The game just feels . . . empty. I don't know if I can adequately explain it. All I can say is that, while there may be a lot of content and many quests, they just didn't really grip me as much as they ought to. The main questline is also weak, which definitely doesn't hurt but which isn't the main problem due to the vast number of side quests available.

Maybe it's the fact that this game just feels so similar to Fallout 3. While the game is based in an entirely different area (Boston), many areas just feel like remodeled and retextured areas from the previous Fallout games. Different in look and design, sure, but the same in feel.

Also, I should warn anyone that this game is very resource-demanding. You need a very powerful GPU and CPU to be able to play this game in consistent 60fps or above. Even then you may have to suffer occasional stuttering. This definitely didn't help its case at all.

Disclaimer: I haven't played the DLCs. I don't know if they improve the game at all, add something more worthwhile. As it is, all I can say is that unless you're a hardcore Fallout game who doesn't get bored with games no matter how repetitive, Fallout 4 is probably not for you.

I hate soccer. I dislike cars. This game combines both of them.

I love this game.

It's a very challenging, yet also very rewarding experience. The community of this game is also extremely nice, from what I've experienced. I recommend this game to anyone who likes a game that requires extreme motor thumbstick skills.

Seriously. I've played for about 90 hours, and I still just about suck. :p Be prepared to put a lot of time into this game before you start noticing an improvement of your skills. You absolutely cannot get discouraged if you can't manage to even hit the ball in the beginning. It will come naturally. Just let it flow.

One of the best stealth games I've ever played, period. And I've played a lot of them. I love stealth games. They're in many respects my favorite genre, and this game is right up my ally.

Now I didn't like the multiplayer. At all. The multiplayer still has many fun shenanigans like the singleplayer game, but it's far more of a run-and-shoot type of gameplay. The singleplayer is where this game really shines.

The story may be the weakest of all Metal Gear Solid games, but at least MGSV doesn't shove the story in your face and just lets you enjoy the game itself. That said, the twist at the end is still one of the best any game ever hit me with. After the prologue I knew some shenanigans were up, but the game successfully managed to lead me onto a completely wrong trail.

You can play this game for many, many hours without it ever getting boring. There's a lot of content and a lot of stuff to do. The stealth alone is fun enough that it never gets boring.

Also, it has a dog. Who you can recruit. As your ingame companion. Forget the mech, the horse, and the badass sniper (though functionally she's probably superior)—D-Dog is where it's at.

Disclaimer: This is not a multiplayer review. I barely play Dark Souls PvP, so if you want that, you want to look elsewhere.

In my humble opinion, Dark Souls III is the weakest installment of the series. However, that is not to say it is *bad.* This game's gameplay and graphics have been vastly improved upon compared to the previous games, and some might say that is all they're looking for in a successor.

I must admit to being a little bit more critical.

First off, the bosses. Some were harder than others, some were painfully easy. Some were gimmick boss fights (i.e. boss fights you can "cheese" by knowing a certain strategy and possibly one-hit-kill; as a matter of fact, there were THREE of these in the game), which hurt the game more than they aid them, especially if one of the gimmick boss fights is one of the "big four."

You can see where I'm going with this. The boss design is, in my opinion, not quite up to par with the previous games. They were too uninnovative, too alike to their buddies from previous games, too easy—I mean, hell, I beat the final boss of the game (no spoilers) without dying *once.* If the last boss of the game is also the easiest, you have a problem. (Granted, being the last boss, it means I got in a lot of practice before getting there, but my point remains.)

Secondly, the level design. While not inherently *bad,* they were—like the bosses—a bit uninnovative. If you haven't played the previous games at all, you'll love this game's level design—but as someone who has completed both Dark Souls and Dark Souls II several times, I can only say that every single area in Dark Souls III mimics (no pun intended) an area from one of the previous games.

The progression irked me especially. [Minor spoilers for all Dark Souls games ahead] In the first game, the progression was the starting area -> the Hub -> a fortress -> a village -> an underground swamp -> a more difficult fortress -> city of giants -> ... -> Demon Ruins ... -> catacombs -> ... -> a library -> ... -> the final ashen area.

In the second game, the progression was the starting area -> the Hub -> a fortress -> a forest -> ... -> some more catacombs -> a more difficult fortress -> a dragon area -> the final ashen area.

Dark Souls 3 is a mix of both, except unlike either of the previous games, it features virtually no NEW elements in its progression. There's the starting area -> the Hub -> a fortress (surprise!) -> a village (surprise!) -> a forest (surprise!) -> a swamp (surprise!) -> a cathedral -> catacombs (surprise!) -> Demon Ruins (surprise!) -> an ice area (this one's good) -> ... -> city of giants (surprise!) -> a more difficult fortress (surprise!) -> a library (surprise!) -> a dragon area (surprise!) -> the final ashen area (this one can be excused as flame and ash is the main interconnecting theme of the games).

Yeah, I didn't particularly like the level design very much at all. Taken on its own, it would be good, but with the previous games in mind, it just lacks *new* stuff.

Despite all that, it's still a good game that only has potential to get better—potentially with some more creative and innovative level and boss design—in the DLCs, so if you liked the previous games, you'll probably like this game, but it's unlikely you'll like it *more* than the previous ones.

If this is your first Dark Souls game, go at it, man. This one's for you.

I'm going to start out by making a daring claim: If you liked the previous installment, you'll like this game.

However, there is one important thing you must absolutely keep in mind: Do NOT go into this game for the characters or the story. Go into it for the amazing gameplay—whether you play stealthy or action-y—or you'll be severely disappointed.

The story is extremely boring and uninnovative, and I don't think I've ever played a game with more predictable plot twists. The characters are clichéd and lack personality. Yet the level design, gameplay, and the beautiful graphics more than make up for all that in my mind.

Just don't go in wanting the game to be something it isn't and I guarantee you'll like it.

Among the best exploration games I've ever played. The ocean is a place of deep and sometimes terrifying beauty. The gadgets and vehicles you can craft to upgrade your deepsea exploration power are creative and interesting. At no point did the crafting aspect of the game feel tedious or boring, which I don't say about crafting games often. The base-building aspect will appeal to any longstanding Sims player, and most importantly, new features are being added all the time.

That's important, too, because as it stands, this game does not have *that* many of them. It's still a fun and beautiful game that can last you many hours, but if you go in expecting dozens of hours of new and innovative gameplay, you may be disappointed.

However, the devs are currently developing a Story Mode, and they have stated their desire to implement a multiplayer mode eventually (and by eventually I mean that's still very far off in the future if it happens at all). You might want to wait for those features, but I strongly recommend you purchase it now if you like exploration games at all—after all, all subsequent updates are free.

Stunning if cartoony graphics and mind-blowingly beautifully handcrafted dialogue make this a memorable game. The relationships and characters this game supplies are believable and genuine, the emotions and suspense truly grip your heart. The ending may not be as big a twist as you may have been hoping for, but it seems natural, a logical consequence of everything that's happened, not contrived in the least. The music makes an amazing and fitting counterpiece to the happenings of the park.

I have noticed some minor gameplay glitches and some few graphic artifacts, but apart from that my only real complaint would be the short game time. If you explore absolutely everything, you're looking at 6 hours at the most, and that's if you're going at a very sluggish pace (not that that's a bad thing; quite the opposite really), more likely 4-5. Still, the "realness" of the heartfelt dialogue more than make up for it in my opinion.

Be aware, though, that this game focuses on character and its development most of all. Exploration, gameplay, and even story are only minor concerns, so if that's not something you're looking for, you'd probably be better off with some other game.
