I won't mince my words. This game could have been great but is just not, unless you're an avid fan of the first game and/or stealth (the one mechanic which works reasonably well). There are so many issues with this game, so let me recount some of them.

Pros:
• good stealth system
• somewhat interesting levels

Cons:
• janky and glitchy movement, does not feel fluid at all
• you fall through the floor a lot
• Far Reach doesn't work more times than it does
• frequent crashes
• horrid performance (still)
• repetitive level assets
• whereas in the first game, chaos changed the very ending you got, in this game it feels like it has next to no impact at all
• too short
• predictable story
• cringeworthy voice acting

The problem with this game is that it's extremely unpolished. It has a nice concept, but the execution is very bad. The reason I'm recommending it anyway is because every other game in its genre is considerably worse, so if you have a snowsports itch to scratch, this game is really your only option. If you don't, don't even consider getting this game because it's not remotely worth its money.

Pros:
- snow sports
- wingsuiting is fun
- a lot of content
- a lot of character customization

Cons:
- absolutely horrible controls in every single sport (especially snows/skis and paragliding)
- every little bump sends you flying for five seconds, meaning that you will completely lose control of your character
- wingsuiting is pretty much only viable with keyboard and mouse, whoever designed the controller controls is a moron who doesn't understand how controllers work
- graphical effects used to be good but have been downgraded considerably
- a lot of very weird glitches
- unpolished hitboxes

Ever wanted to do some coding but also procrastinate at the same time? Boy, do I have just the game for you!

PROS
• programming as a video game
• basically codewars as a video game
• pseudo–assembly language is easy to learn, hard to master due to the few instruction sets
• lots of levels
• makes your head emit literal smoke

CONS
• if you're not a programmer, just forget it
• the "FAST" execution is still rather slow, especially if you have 50,000+ cycles (there's an achievement for 100,000 cycles); ideally I'd want an instant execution button

Tons of fun. Seriously. While I disagree with making the multiplayer version separate from the main game with its own price tag, that doesn't diminish the amount of fun you'll have if you play this game with your friends.

PROS
• lots of content
• different types of ♥♥♥♥ (correction: manure)
• a lot of multiplayer fun
• great netcode
• MODS – turn this game into almost anything you want
• the amount of content combined with the number of characters (all expandable with mods) makes for amazing replayability

CONS
• a bit hard to get into due to a lack of tutorial; you'll have to rely on the wiki a lot, especially if you haven't played the main game extensively

Great platformer. It's a lot of fun even for someone like me who absolutely sucks at platformers.

PROS
• a great difficulty curve (with one exception, see below)
• no pressure (no timer or anything)
• great intuitive controls
• great replayability due to randomly generated levels and many game modes and achievements
• ability to create your own levels or color palettes

CONS
• once Rocket Bots start spawning, the levels go from reasonably hard to almost impossible
• some levels (especially hardcore levels) are literally impossible to complete (e.g. saws in front of walls you have to jump into to destroy because you have no TNT or sections with dozens of traps, all with timings that overlap so much that there is no opening at all)
• most of the color palettes are actual eye cancer and there is no reason anyone would ever use them

Lackluster, clumsy, and repetitive combat and puzzle sections, but the wonderful story and visuals make up for it. If you're looking for gameplay, do not buy this game. Only get it if narrative is what you're after.

Great story-driven game. I wish you could run a little faster, but that's about my only criticism. Great characters, great story, great soundtrack, great setting.

It's a very short game but I still very much enjoyed it. A definite step-up from the first game.

One of the best puzzle games I've ever played with a minimalist yet somehow still engaging story. Despite the fact that you (barely) never see another being in the world, you never really feel alone.

Grimdark RPGs are hard to come by these days. There's Dragon Age: Origins. There's Planescape Torment. And then there's the Witcher.

In short, this is a beautiful game with excellent gameplay and a great story. Despite the fact that many of the series' areas are designed to be as close to real medieval places as possible (this is no Final Fantasy, people), there are haunting and horrific areas, and there are wondrous, beautiful areas. Hell, you can even traverse other worlds at one point in the story—one of the most beautiful video game experiences I have ever . . . well, experienced.

I can recommend this game for any RPG lover. Trust me. You'll love it. It doesn't hurt that the devs are among the kindest and bestest devs currently out there. What is this, they actually listen to their fanbase? What is this, they give out free DLCs? If I didn't see it with my own two eyes, I wouldn't have believed it myself.
