Really solid game, runs great on steam deck too, I mean solid medium settings and stable framerate. Your first impression of what this game is like, is probably spot on. a semi open world post apoc zombie survival game. essentially like playing the walking dead TV show i suppose.

Well I just started getting into this game and now Rockstar cut steam deck support so neither I nor any of my friends can play. The worst part is I made a ticket and they tried to blame it on valve when the ball is clearly in their court. I guess they don't care about their customers. Sad

I have had this game since release and have not been able to trigger the game to do anything. I can walk around the beginning room but the keosk and the training stuff wont trigger. I've tried reinstalling it. I've tried it at a friends house and was able to run the game just fine, initiate the tutorial, start the actual game portion. On my computer though it's like a big empty waiting room with nothing to do. That said I have played it at my friends. It's probably the best wave shooter, but that isn't saying much because wave shooters are rather basic and more suited to phone games. Still. It's just okay. It would be nice to have levels and be able to walk around more than a small space. For the lack of actual game content (level modelling and such) you'd think it would have been cheaper to develop / sell for cheaper. Still worth it on sale if you're bored and want to play a good looking wave shooter. Make sure to just try it out right away though so you can refund it if it doesn't work on your computer like in my case.

This is a fun MMO that you'll probably spend more money on and get mad at but then come back because you love the abuse.

Early Access Review
I like it a lot, having a great time even though it's in pre-release. Can't wait for it to be polished. I hope they keep expanding the game like they say they will.

I absolutely love this game. It's not for everyone. You have to enjoy a lot of the sim and graphical aspects of it. If you're looking for a hard path to end game, you're going to find the game grindy and repetative. It's much better to noodle around and do things that look interesting as you cross them, not worry about how far you get or what you get in xx amount of time. I will say this game is far less interactive than It hought it would be, which is obviously a huge con for many just reading through reviews. I'm okay with it though. I see a lot of great features on the horizon and have been able to entertain myself. Game looks great in VR as well. I've played it about 50/50 VR / 2d. Just love this game!

This is one of two games that makes me motion sick really quickly (the other being Hover Junkers).... but that said, I still love this game. I'm hoping to build my tolorance by playing it ocassionally and it's really worth it to me for the fun factor (I'm no stranger to dealing with motion sickness anyway since I go fishing regularly and get motion sick every time). I really like the sense of freedom and speed of movement. It's one of those games where the immersion offers a feeling that you cant easily get in real life (unless you go on zip lines or something like that on a regular bases). There's not much to it, I really hope they add more content in the future, but I can definitely take it for what it is and grapple from cliff to cliff and enjoy the heck out of it for just that alone. I would even buy an expansion pack or sequel if it game with a lot of new game mechanics and content. Maybe puzzles and more reasons to climb vertical or traps/pitfalls of some sort to avoid. I mean I know they are going for the zen feeling of just soaring at speed and that is foremost why this game is great, but it's so cool I want more ways to play it. Anwyay out of all the lame things I've purchased for VR recently that I'll probably open once and not play again, this isn't one of them.

This game is working great for me in terms of functionality. I have a 4 year old i7 and a gtx 680 and I am able to run it in max settings pegged at 60fps. I haven't seen it drop or slow down at all, so it's a bummer some people with newer beast computers seem to have problems. I was able to set up a PC controller using joy2key. Though the game runs fine, I do wish it had more features. The capcom release schedule is going to be awful slow considering how few characters there are, and how few actual moves each character contains. I wish they had added 3rd strike style parries to all the characters to maybe add a little more depth to the gameplay. There's not much new here, but like always it's street fighter remake so I will get it and play it. Some slightly more complex gameplay or a radically new mechanic might have been welcome. I hope the content charges ahead, as it does feel incomplete, but it's certainly fun in the current state. It will be real fun in a couple years I suspect. I doubt they will but I really hope for voice chat implementation when they add actual battle lobbies with multiple person support and spectate. It would be great to get in a lobby with several friends and socialize while you switch off battling, but it doesn't really seem like they will add voice chat. If they did I could play this game a lot more, as (for me) multiplayer games are as much about socializing with friends as they are about actually playing the game. Time will tell.

I hope they keep putting work into this. It's a blast but I think it needs continued content. Having bougth it on the steam sale I have no regrets... laughed and sat on the edge of my seat for hours tonight.
