Game was enjoyable but fairly short. It gets a thumbs down from me thanks to the appalling amount of content locked behind micro-transaction; you'd think you're playing a live service title with all this overpriced cosmetic slop. Special mention goes to the permanent advert you install in your world should you decide to open a glitch portal with no intention of buying the DLC.

Love this game and am glad to support the developer. I do hope the four heroes that are excluded from this skin pack receive some love as well.

The only homeless fox in my settlement took a hailstone to the head and died the instant the storm started because their viceroy was more concerned about that clearance pump being manned.

Gameplay is fun and the soundtrack is a real slapper, as the kids say these days. The only thing I found I dislike is the sudden death mechanic, which seems to be the consensus for most players (the developers are in the process of reworking it).

Fun and challenging roguelike to play with friends. Love the soundtrack and character designs-- each are very unique to play and the gameplay loop can be addicting.

While I agree with the critical reviews that more chapters would be welcome, I don't think a negative rating is fair. The current amount of content is about what you'd expect to get out of a $25 game and what's offered is of high quality.

It's not often I play visual novels, in fact at the time of writing this is the only one I own, but Slay the Princess caught my interest and I'm so glad I gave it a chance. The game is quite clearly a labor of love in more ways than one and is a masterwork of art and writing, the soundtrack becoming an instant favorite of mine. Glad to support this developer.

This game puts me in my happy place. Then, FICSIT rips me from that happy place and tells me to get back to work because FICSIT does not permit unauthorized circumstances that result in feelings of joy

It's rare this day and age that a developer continues to support their game as long as these folks have with quality updates and without micro-transactions or season passes.
