Road 96 is honestly a very good thought provoking game with quirky characters, a solid interactive story and some fun gameplay elements to mix things up a bit. Very little complaints here, the game feel like a Telltale game with more focus on exploration and interactivity. It may not be the most expansive choice-based game available (Detroit: Become Human), but very good for what it is with a few graphical oversights (trees popping in the distance, waterfall spewing out of an impossible place). The story sucked me in and kept me interested. I give it 8/10 stolen car keys.

Great if you enjoy the gameplay loop.

I have TRIED really hard to enjoy this, racking up over 16 hours and yet, here we are...
These types of game are really not my cup of tea... Playing as a Killer is great for a couple hours but playing as a Survivor gets boring fast. Repairing generators on every level is dull, I have no idea why this game is so successful when there is no real variation in activity. If the devs put in a different escape or multiple options (not just a hatch) for every level, I might change my mind, like; repairing a car, disarming traps, killing the killer (such as performing a ritual by drawing a symbol and lighting candles, activating shrines in a specific order that randomises each playthrough, or working together to build a lethal trap), gathering explosives to clear a route, etc.

Repairing generators and slipping killers is not enough for me personally. I understand that there is a diehard fanbase for this game who love every aspect of it, I know a few of them, and even after listening to their reasons for loving the game, I am left wondering "why?" The game has so much potential to be amazing, but the devs have turned this into a horror themed fortnite experience with the cameo characters and DLC.

I won't get into the people you play with online because that would lower my already low rating. Some good players, some toxic af players, like every online multiplayer game. It is what it is.

Fun with friends, graphics are ok, too much DLC stuffs crammed into a very repetitive gameplay loop.

I give it 3 eh out of meh... 10/10 for straight up disappointment

If you like old-school Tycoon games, you'll like this one! I have been waiting for this game to come out for a long time, the Demo got me heavily addicted and now I have already lost over 5 hours into the full release. I love the variety of levels and settings, the unlockable items and customisation, the weird and revolting drink combos, the odd tastes of guests, the dog bowl for the puppers... it is exactly what i expected and more!

My only real complaint is the limited 10 level campaign and the lack of genuine voice actors, the AI voice acting sounds a bit off... Other than that, the game has a lot to offer for those willing to experiment with the game mechanics. The sandbox mode gives it a lot of replayability with its 10 (i think) level designs with endless challenges and quests to keep you busy. There is a lot of content to keep you entertained but don't expect anything more than what it is... A Cafe Tycoon game. If you want a Cafe Tycoon game, this is it.

RIMWORLD is a 10/10 (once you get used to it)

I love this game, I love the concept and the style and chaos of this game. At first I hated it... but only because of the UI along with the learning curve of how the game functions differently to, well, anything else... Once you get over that hurdle, the game is amazing and infinitely replayable (especially with Mods).

Highly recommend for those interested in Dwarf Fortress but want less of a headache... this is a good first step.

Travellers Rest is one of the most addictive games I have ever played!

The gameplay loop is fast-paced and implements hands-on micromanaging perfectly. It is basically more of a tycoon-focused tavern sim than Stardew Valley and plays A LOT faster (it does start out slow like all good tycoon/sim games should). There is crafting, farming, cooking and customisation (give it time, more will come). Serving customers is a blast and can be good for a laugh here and there, though they are a messy bunch...

I am always moving between tasks and organising my inventory and stock for the next time I open, Whether I am gathering resources to build and expand, making food and drink for the customers and message board tasks, exploring the newly added areas, cleaning tables and smacking rude customers with a broom... I am always glued to the screen. This game scratches an itch I have been craving to scratch for years.

As far as the development goes, the game is always being updated and now the Devs have released a roadmap, so we can see what to expect in future updates, so far it contains impressive and ambitious new additions including a dog and farm animals!

This game is great as it is now, it has been getting better since i bought it, and looking at the roadmap has made me very happy that i picked it up during Early Access.

I have been making a lets play series on YouTube where all I do is basically sing its praises and explore the new additions as they come. I HIGHLY recommend this game.

I HAVE WAY MORE THAN 1.2 Hours experience with this game, however that is on the original Xbox. I bought this game on steam to see the differences between console and PC versions as well as to try out some mods (It's a Tasty potato on both PC and Xbox). Honestly, if you love Ghost Recon or Rainbow 6, this is a must buy... (i'm not talking about breakpoint or siege).

This game won't be for everyone, it is difficult and requires patience. If you run and gun you will likely die. The graphics are very dated and if you don't pay attention to the gameplay mechanics you won't get very far. Ghost Recon requires planning, micromanagement and wits.

The game is a classic, and despite it looking like a potato in comparison to modern games, it has a lot more to offer than your average AAA shooter. This is a HARDCORE tactical shooter that wrote the damned book on what a tactical shooter is and should be. I don't know where they lost their way in modern times, but this is the true Ghost Recon experience. Go out on risky missions with your handpicked squad, customise their loadout, plan appropriately for each mission, execute commands to your squad, decide whether it's best to go loud (and die) or stealth (and die) or do your best to ambush the enemy before they spot you (and possibly live). Watch as you team grows stronger over time and earn medals, and see who survives until the end. This game was the first game that introduced me to permadeath, and when I lost my favourite sniper I was devastated. I got way more attached to these potato-looking characters than any call of duty or battlefield.

Side Note:
The MOD: "Heroes Unleashed" adds 20-40 times more content than the base game. It is a MUST if you want more out of the original Ghost Recon experience.

10/10 potato gems

I really don't like leaving negative reviews... like, ever... but DAAAAAMMMNNNN. This game looks like it has a lot of potential to be a great energetic twin-stick shoot and loot singleplayer or multiplayer game... BUT the freaking pushy microtransations are super invasive and a massive let down for what could be a great game... Why do I have to purchase REVIVES!? I mean, I understand games with permadeath, that's fine, but needing to BUY REVIVES is ridiculous. I did not play the game enough to die once, I was put off by the monetisation and leaving this review and game behind me. Unless you have money to waste, this game is not worth it, but that's just me. A shame really, if you take away the greedy BS it would be my type of game.

Do you like XCOM 2? If yes, you will also like this game. It is Xcom meets Door Kickers. Swat style turn-based shooter with an interesting story and great graphics. Feels smoother in parts than Xcom 2 but more repetitive. The gameplay loop is addictive, yes. I beat the whole game (on normal) while streaming on Twitch, beat the 3 different factions over 3 streams and had an absolute blast doing so. I wish there was more customisation and custom characters, but I do like the personalities and characteristics of the featured members. Overall it is a very good game and a wonderful spin-off.

This game is EPIC! There is a ton of challenge and infinite replayability. Always growing, always trying new tactics, enjoying the RNG and story. The pixel art is really well made and feels both nostalgic and modern, the gameplay loop is addictive and memorable. Worth every cent, I got it on special, but would've gladly paid full price for this masterpiece. PLEASE MAKE MORE GAMES LIKE THIS!!!!!

This game is Fan-freaking-tastic! I loved Door Kickers 1 and this sequel has yet to disappoint. I started playing through the "campaign" level by level, customising my characters and loadout and then BAM! Updates galore, Now there are CIA teams and missions that require a different way of thinking and plan out missions like an operative rather than a murder-hobo. Then came the Night Ops... I like the night ops.

I have recently gotten into the level editor, it has a vast array of objects and features to play with, it has brought out my creative side in a way that other level/ map editors lack. I do feel it is a bit limited for now, would love some more options for flooring, wallpaper, plants and civilians (different/varied clothing would be welcome).

The customisation in the game is fantastic for equipping your squad members, so many options for weapons and infiltration, if anything is to change, I hope for visual customisation for soldiers (changing camo) but the game is wonderful as is. I'm just a sucker for customisation (had a lot of fun in Xcom 2)

Highly recommend this game. The Devs keep working on it, adding new fun ways to enjoy the game. Worth the price, bargain on special. Keep up the good work KillHouse Games!
