Most of the negative reviews are from when the game came out in 2016, but from early 2017 and up to now the reviews are much more positive.

Even with all the hate people dished out the developers laboured on constantly improving their game. Until it became what they said it was going to be upon initial release, Then they kept going adding and improving even more.
It's always a good sign when 4+ years in to a games life (That is not an MMO) the developers are still supporting it with more than just the odd bug fix here and there, but also adding new content as well that isn't just DLC that should have been in the game from day 1 anyway.

Long story short: It's good now and has been for a while. If you haven't played in years cause it was bad and you left a bad review. Give it another go and show some appreciation for all the hard work that has gone into this game and if your a new player dive in.

Any game that supports mods usually keeps my interest longer than those that don't.

Scrolling through my Steam games list for something to play. Came across this game, bought it in early access many many years ago because it looked like it was going to be Terraria in space. But in the end all this game became was an abandoned, unfinished product that should NOT be for sale any more. That also means anyone who purchased this game from the day it was abandoned till now should be granted a full refund.

Don't be fooled by the lack of an early access tag on this game. Push out a "1.0" update, call it done to have that early access removed then drop the game leaving it for sale to fool new customers.

There are better games to play in this genre. Like Starbound & Terraria (which has been being supported for 9 years post release btw, unlike this mess) for example.

Any future early access products that get abandoned by the devs should be made unable to be purchased and the store pages for those games should stay up and be flagged as "ABANDONED EARLY ACCESS PRODUCT" so if anyone finds a game (especially early access) and decides to check out that developers other products to maybe see how their finished products look as a hint to how their newly in production Early Access title may look (if) when completed, it will give the potential buyer that red flag to warn them that the developer they are looking at had abandoned products in the past.

Still going, 970+ Hours on record and about 130+ Hours with TModLoader... Need I say more?

I do recommend it, However; The dungeons are etremely unfair at times (most times) to the degree where if this were an actual game of D&D I would punch the DM in the face so they would have a reason for being so harsh. Whats that you have explored your first room, well heres a fire trap that kills 3 of your 5 party members then enrages the other 2 and here is 5 enemies you can't run from or use skills on, only normal attack becasue your enraged (actual encounter)... This is the FIRST dungeon, it should not require 2 hours of grinding to complete the first dungeon. All enemies were being 1 shot by my lowest characters, but the traps would kill half the party every time.
So go ahead, give it a play. It's enjoyable, just not the dungeons.

Well, this is how. after the first hour I still had not heard the same song twice, {Unlike listening to the radio} because it uses YOUR music (as well as other options). Aside from that, Its a well done Dual "Stick" shooter and will kill your time... Fast.
