This game is a rough gem, needs honing and polish in many areas, but still holds something of value underneath. The base gameplay loop is solid even with 8 heists which while less than the 11 Payday 2 launched with, they feel like they have much more to them especially with the reworked stealth system. Stealth doesn't feel like a complete chore anymore at least to a primarily loud player like me and has become quite enjoyable especially playing with friends. With more heists coming down the line (hopefully a few free ones on top of the paid dlc) the limited number will start to feel less and less constricting similar to the weapon pool with promised future additions. The part that really needs some polish is infamy progression and challenges. While I personally have little issue with the challenges as of now since I like varying my gameplay to target specific challenges, I completely understand the frustration behind inadequate rewards especially with the challenges seeming to favor loud gameplay over stealth. Hopefully this system sees improvement in the future in addition to QoL features like better filters, search, and tracking. With the server issues seeming to be behind us (heavy knock on wood) I hold a positive outlook for this games future and continue to voice improvements we want to see in the game because the devs want this game to be as good as we do. If you aren't a hardcore Payday fan and aren't sure if its for you, grab either of the previous entries in the series, they can offer a decent idea of what this game has to offer for a much lower price.

Glad to see more remade heists from PD:TH but the only thing missing from this DLC was 1 or 2 more weapons and the fact the fact that Alex fails to say "Like a glove!" in Undercover. At least we got "Nice and steady again."
