Pull out at least 3 to 4 feet of rope.
Fold 2 feet of rope into an S-shape.
Pass the standing line of the rope under all three sections of the S.
Wrap the end of the rope around the top of the S-shape 7 times.
Pass the end of the rope through the bottom loop of the ring.
Pull on the knot and standing line to tighten it.
